Did a spindleclutch run and two sanctum runs today.
Our guild usually reach 40k dps mark, but today it wasnt even above 30k.
Does FTC needs a update? Anyone else experience this?

CP updated yes, bosses went down quick as usual.

Update:

Some information. A friend of mine said he tested his dps on bloodspawn on pts and got 35k dps in 50 seconds.
When I do dps test on bloodspawn in same duration, my dps is 30k.
Our conclusion is that they lowered the all the hp on the mobs and / or higher ressistance.
Did they change the ressistance on mobs? Since they changed the penetration traits on weapons and how that works, did they changed the mobs ressistances aswell? I dont know the math here.

    Welcome to the new CP level scaling?

    Probably something like the "made it more in line with consoles patch"....when they nerfed everyone many DLC ago....

    Maybe it's because of the animation changes? I noticed you have to actually complete the light attack animation now, and that made some rotations worse. I used to kill the final phase of last boss in vMA in 22 seconds with 25k dps on my Stamplar, but I took 28 seconds with 21,5k today. I tried doing the same things as before, but 2H light attack is now just SO slow..

    I am pretty sure FTC has not been updated for about 6 months give or take. I think that guy left the game.

    I was in these sanctum runs and my dps was very low according to ftc. This is an addon though so im not certain

    Just going by the amount of time taken on a usual delve run, I actually thought the enemies were going down a little quicker.

    Same equipment, and any extra CPs were placed in defensive/mitigation stats, not offensive ones.

    Not scientific, or based on the add-on you mention that would auto calculate the average DPS numbers, but a plethora of experience and memory.

    Yes I also noticed something like this while doing the new quests and killing mobs that my Light attack + Wrecking blow takes much longer than it was before. I'm very sad for this change. :(

    I never really relied on FTC for damage output anyways. Yes, it was a helpful gauge but after a boss fight in a dungeon I hit the boss once and then was killed. No one rezzed me but FTC said I did 22k dps for the entire fight.... yeah... must have been 1 really really good hit XD

    FTC has a timer and calculates DPS in the simple DMG/Time way. If you hit the boss for 22k in 1 second and then died, you pulled 22k DPS, but only for that single second. That's what FTC displays. (if you post your dps, it will also show total damage done and time. If you do the math yourself you'll notice it's accurate.)
