I just want to say that the Thieve's Guild DLC is actually really good.

I've gotta give big props to ZOS for the main story, quests, architecture of the houses and buildings inside the city and Hew's Bane overall, like the mountain/cliffs, sandy rocks etc, the characters, the outfits and the whole thievery scene of sneaking around and avoiding guards & witnesses, and anything else that I missed out.

That is all. B)

P.S ... I recommend anybody with the DLC/Subscribed, who hasn't done it yet, take a break from PvP or whatever you're doing and try to get yourself immersed in the story and you'll most likely enjoy it too. That's if you read/listen to mostly all of the quest dialog at least for the first time round, of course.

I agree. For the most part, it is enjoyable.. but, I thought the final few quests are a bit weak. Although, it was nice to decide whether or not to kill the guy who betrayed the guild, at the final quest. Honor amongst thieves.. It's also good that a few quests take you out of Hew's Bane and to the other areas of Tamriel. I still head back there now and then to redo the repeatable quests for the XP.

Yeah exactly, I just got that part done yesterday as I weren't totally aware that you needed to have done some of those stealing missions from the board to open up the next part of the story quest. It is interesting, but yeah I agree, a bit weak indeed... I was expecting something much more BIG in the sense of feeling as if it was an accomplishment, like all those quests were leading up to something huge, but still, I liked it too. :sunglasses:

Those dailies/quests are kinda enjoyable too since they give you the incentive to steal, and you make some OKish gold from them in the process, I guess.

I am fan of Abah's landing and I love the whole rough and ridged landscape of Hew's Bane with it's lush creeks. A true semi-desert environment and the sounds and music in this DLC are awesome as well. Lanes are a bit too wide in Abah's landing for a real Kasbah feeling, but some of the more narrow lanes in the city have a kasbah feel to them.

The reason why lanes and walkways in ancient middle-eastern and north african towns are that narrow is because it is cooler there, there is more shadow and it make life in the town more enjoyable (without air conditioning). Modern arabic cities do look more like modern cities, because there is air conditioning. An ancient town has to have narrow lanes to be cooler. The new city of Masdar in Abu Dhabi is using that old principle again - narrow roads, narrow lanes - in average 10 degrees cooler.

But back to topic - I think the DLC is awesome - I give that one a 4.5 out of 5.

Interesting... makes sense. Also, I forgot to mention that... the music is really nice!
