What kinds of cheats were these players doing? Is it only on pc?

So people who don't take high scores or spam meteor will go unnoticed?
PC sounds so broken. All 3rd party add ons should be banned to perserve the state of the game.

Hey we have currently few numbers of players on EU server, me inclueded, they got banned because of those ultimate cheat. The poor thing is, those guys got banned, weren't even cheating.

Regular add ons have nothing to do with it. The issue was from an open source program that someone updated recently to hack client side data. Nothing like an add on to show skyshards on a map or lore books.

Unfortunately has nothing to do with addons but stand alone 3rd party software running in the background, with or without addons people would be able (and continue to) do what we've been seeing recently. Like some people have suggested, the only ones getting banned are the players that were blatantly abusing it, but the people using this software to give themselves slight buffs will be hard to detect.

The worst of the cheating going on that she was talking about was unlimited spamming if ultimates over and over and over again.
And yes that was on PC.

The other 2 well known cheats were on console also though they are more of a "Glitch" than a straight up hack like the ultimate cheese. . But the ultimate spam was on PC.
