VR16 gear improvement?

With the VR removal incoming, can anyone tell me if it's necessary to improve all my VR16 gear to Legendary prior to DB? At the moment I have only the helmet done but everything else is purple. I'm also assuming I don't need to enchant with Legendaries yet. Or do I?

    Well you gear will be at CP160 instead of VR16 aka the most powerfull level of gear available so it won't change much.

    However you might want to wait a bit before spending those rare gold mats in case some other crafted or dropped new gear in DB appeals you more than you actual one.

    Thanks. Just wasn't sure if the VR removal meant any change to pre-change crafted gear.

    Some of the traits are changing too. If traits on your gear are viable after the patch (like Divines for DPs) , it really makes no difference.

    Also, new sets are coming with DB. I'd save my gold tempers just to be sure)
    Skye Cloude - Sorc DPS, Master Crafter. Main, the bestest
    Lae Lenne - Templar Healer Trial grade.
    Dromede - Stamina Nightblade, she's a newb and doesn't know what she's doing
    V'oghatta - Stamplar pretending to be a tank
    Ulville Thonvella - aspiring Fire Mage, be careful around her fire sticks!
    Dromedaris - lost and not found. Named after a shoe, what else can you expect from her? A proper tank in her wildest dreams
    Swims-Naked - too pretty to grind, too silly to quest.
    Sun Flair - Dunmer Templar that can't spell for life. To bad she's too broke to afford a name change... Well, at least she's pretty...
