Question: Vampire Accelerated Drain and Spell Erosion + Sneak Attack

The Apprentice Champion Ability Spell Erosion nor Sneak Attack work on Accelerated Drain.
Now, for Spell Erosion, I think that is weird, since most/all other spell based abilities do work with it, and AD is a spell ability.
Same for Sneak Attack.
Why isn't this working?
