I recently found out how useful purifying light is. It sounds lack lustre but it's amazing and it's your analytics tool. It helps with damage. It heals. It says to dps kill this mob. But a really great use is in assessing your team.

It stores damage for six seconds and then unleashes damage up to about 60% of your max magic. Now how that helps you asses your team is, with combat numbers now being shown, you can apply it to a mob or boss and not hit it for 6 seconds, till it discharges its damage and see just how much damage your group are doing. If it's near max value, they are doing great, if it's 1200 then it's going to be a long night. I mostly pug 4 mans so it's good to get this indicator.

It's also kind of nice that it's a group dps check rather than showing idividuals.

So what I'm wanting to know, is if it deals say 25k damage, how much damage did the mob take to produce that figure? Does it only copy a percentage? If so what percentage?

    22% without any cp spend?

I'm not sure that any CP would impact it. I have about 270 spent though.

It's awesome on a Magicka Templar tank, combined with Pierce Armor and Aggressive Horn.

Doesn't it say that in the skill description? I think it's 18% without cp.
