That's really odd the face paint on NPC orcs isn't available to then... but IS available to a different race.

Are WE getting this stuff??? If yes, WHEN? You've really been silent FAR TOO LONG on this subject! And ditto for PLAYER HOUSING! PLEASE THROW US A BONE ALREADY! Thank you.

I'm hoping ZOS will see the opportunity for opening up a brand new crafting line for clothier, woodworker, and blacksmiths, as well as the ability to breathe fresh air into the game economy by making it so we can research and craft various racial furniture and house decoration plans. The racial aspect is important I think because it makes ESO unique in their housing options, and provides a multitude of furniture/decoration options for years to come. As they release new DLC, that opens up new options for furniture/decoration motifs. There should also be the option to buy motif plans as well as completed crafted furniture/decorations on the various guild stores.
I want to be able to store items in my house, and have friends over to show off the cool new decorations I just made..
As far as the barber shop goes, I really hope that will be an in game gold option.

Fantastic post and I agree. I think back to my EQ2 days and how much fun I had with their housing system. It would be great to have a huge side diversion like housing where you could continue to work on your house/property for months if not years. Some of the creativity in a game like EQ2 or Wildstar for example was truly fantastic! Synching this up with crafting would be great.
I think this could be a potential gold mine for ZOS as well. I would hope we could craft stuff as well as have an enticing Crown store.
I just pray that it isn't some boring hook system where you decorate once and then really don't visit it again.

OR the people designing it and making it get let go and then they "shelve it" because "it needs to be on the back burner for now. We have to prioritize other things first. We may revisit it." I.E. the spell crafting treatment. ZOS loves starting things then showing em off for hype.
If you want a new hairstyle, you should reroll. Choices should have meaning.

By that logic I should never have the option in the real world either to change my hair, make-up or jewelry. Choices do have real meaning but that doesn't mean I always want to wear the same clothes with the same hair and the same earrings forever, and ever ad infinitum.
My choice is change. I love change. I hate the same old same old. Some days I may want to go goth and others I may want to be Little Mary Sunshine. I may feel blue one day and just go with the downer and others I may want to cheer myself up with bright colours. Besides, I don't really like any of the hairstyles, want black hair for my Altmer and a good blonde for all, want more make-up choices and better jewelry choices, and none of that is fixed by rerolling.
And, of course, none of the above covers the "OMG what did I do" feeling when your carefully created character looks wrong in the world because there is no meaningful preview. Nope, barber shops with reasonable cost and wide flexibility are the only way to go.
I'll bet my gold that we find out more at the Bethesda E3 showcase (June 12th).
