@zFib stop making yourself like a stomping feet child....
Example. You at 155 CP get CP at somewhere in the 200k range per. While someone with 1000+ ( which is the range you seem to be talking about with your 40mil figure) had to farm their CP prior to ZoS changing the system to allow players to catch up. They farmed at 400k xp per CP up to that point. Your getting CP at a much faster rate because those CP now cost much less then they used to. Once Zos raises the cap the xp curve will change continuing to allow you to gain CP much cheaper then the person with over 1k CP.
This concludes that the only person in this thread who seems to think himself entitled is yourself.
Have a good day sir
what??? did you know that it costs XP to get CP and the amount of xp varies for how many cp you have??? so yea it is based on cp and xp and cxp
Flat amount of CP is more fair. I have account over cap and another at 155. Why on earth should the lower level account get more CP? Flat CXP would turn to more CP at lower level. I simply disagree with that logic. That would be double-dipping to catch-up.bowmanz607 wrote: »So only players that have barely played should get it? What about the players that have grinder up multiple vets and with dB new players simply do to 50 which can be done in 1 day. So now all of that time players spent getting to v16 multiple times not only wasted their time, but also see no benefit for doing so. Ya sorry about your luck. Zos already caters to casuals and new players enough.
whos saying "only players that have barely played should get it?" go read the thread and come back when youre not misinformed
If people have so few CP that the difference between the effective exp between 40 CP on their account and 40 CP on someone else's, they've barely played. You effectively want those who barely have any CP to get more CP than those at or close to the cap. How is that fair? Someone who's played less than me gets more than me? Seems like pretty f'ed up logic.
the one with the F'ed up logic is you. How on earth do you not understand the simple concept of giving an equal amount of CXP to everyone. It may give people with the lower cp more than people with higher cp but what youre not understanding is its the same amount of CXP. this means that the people with the lower CP will still have to catch up and will have the same amount of grinding u had to do when they hit say 400 cp Lets say it costs 200k per cp. 200k * 400= 80 million xp for 400cp(hypothetical) so if they give everyone an equal amount of CXP that "xp bar" of 80 million xp is being evenly filled for every one. TH
But it doesn't cost 200k per CP, that hypothetical isn't close to what we have. What we have is a curve determined by an equation. I don't even know why you're fixated on the exp gain. It's MORE fair to get 40 CP, because we're all gaining the same amount of power. Hell, people with less than 501 CP are gaining more power than the people with less than 501.
Once again, I ask. How is it fair that someone who put in less effort than me in getting these champion points deserves more bonus points? I don't see the fairness. I see 40 as fair.
so you see it fair that youre getting like 40 million CXP worth of CP and im getting like 10 million CXP worth of CP? how is that fair?
The whole artificial reverse calculation would vanish, if we removed catch-up. So, do we remove the catch-up system then to solve this?
ok so you see it fair that you get 40 million CXP in CP and i get 10 million CXP in CP and when i ( and thousands of others) have to catch up to you in CP well also have to deal with that massive bonus of 30 million you guys got in CXP? 30 million xp is almost 3 vet 16s worth of grinding. thats ridiculous. Im going to have to disagree with you

Your upset the people at the top of CP spectrum are getting a numerically bigger benefit then the people at the bottom of the CP spectrum?
When you convert the points into raw XP, yes that's what the op is saying. He wants to take that raw XP value for the 40 points that someone with say 501 Cp has and give that flat XP value to everyone. Which would, in turn, equate to more points for the low end. I do not agree with this and I have less Cp than the OP.
You're right OP. It isn't fair. They should add up all the experience for those of us who earned the bulk of their CP when each point cost 400,000xp, apply it to how much we would have earned if we had the catch up mechanic and give us the CP difference. I mean, how is it fair that I had to work harder and earn more xp for each champion point than you?

There's a lot better ways to hook players into playing your game.

all of you saying "go grind" completely have the wrong idea. U think zos meant for this game to be nothing but a grind until you hit vet 16, and 501 cp? No. And dont tell me to go play on azuras because ive tried that its dead 5/6 of the day. Im at 267 cp right now all im saying is i think they could do a better job of giving everyone CP at DB release. Maybe just make it a flat value of champion xp so the amount of cp you would gain would depend on your current cp

World is not always "fair".
i totally agree, but as a game company, they have the option to make it fair. Are you saying its ok for a NB to have say 90k stamina when no other classes can? no thats not fair, so the developers make it so that doesnt happen. Games are supposed to be as fair as possible

This. I just dinged V16 on my fifth char. Add another V11. There are players that have 8 V16s. How again is the definition of fair, OP? "It is fair as long as I win"?NewBlacksmurf wrote: »It is unfair....
Those of us who hit cap level back at VR12 or Vr14 who only got credit for one VR14 when CP was added and then now again, screwed for credit of only one Vr16 when new players only have to hit CP160 which with the CP catch up, dungeon dailies activity finder bonus, and other exp reductions....
I think you have it backwards.
The new players are getting a deal while existing players who have a few maxed or high VRs are getting screwed.
