How can the rubedo leather needed for a v15 jack be 15, but a v16 jack needs 150? Why so much?

Now to give you my completely unsolicited opinion, i actually like the idea that top endgame gear is somewhat hard to make. Others will dis-agree.

Yes sir! @SirAndy I tried a very quick general internet search but nowt came up. I just reached for my phone and went went straight here to see if it what the deal was. It was something I've never searched for because I never expected such a massive jump for not much gain. Pls bear in mind this is my first vet 16
