I'm not really sure what your trying to say here, you got ESO through steam but somehow it's not in your steam library?
Or are you trying to add a non steam game to the steam library?

I would think you'd need to uninstall the game, then use the steam installer.

    Just a guess.

If you need any assistance installing through Steam our support page has a step-by-step. As was mentioned, the Steam client likely will not recognize the game without a new installation.

This only works for a game purchased through Steam. If you purchased the game through our website or a retailer you don't need to move any files, just to add it as a non-Steam game. The game cannot be registered as a full Steam game if it isn't purchased through their store.

Well, if you can launch it without Steam you can add it as a non-Steam game. Just add the launcher.exe to your Steam library and... poof! done! If you can't launch the game without Steam, uninstall the game.(You can probably do that with something like CCleaner.) and install it again. Your saves and add-ons should be lost since your saves is in the cloud and your add-ons are located in your documents.

If that doesn't work you can just download the non-Steam version from the ESO offcial website.

Try to start the download in your Steam client wait until 5% +/- and close the app through Task Manager, abruptly. Then copy the already downloaded game replacing this partially downloaded, open up the client again adn resume/repair the download.

I never did this before, but worth the shot.
