So I just found out that the Dro'M'Athra-Senche Mount is 4000 crowns, so I'm currently eating ice-cream to fill the hole that Zos carved out of my chest.
Which got me thinking : Would they make ice-cream in Tamriel? I mean they have the ice, the cream... And if so, what flavors do you think they would be?

Tell me your thoughts... preferable whilst eating ice-cream :p

    They could, and then have an ice cream cart that gives a 10 minute 20% exp boost. Only comes through town one every two hours though

    They could definitely have ice cream in Tamriel. In real life ice cream pre-dates refrigeration by a long way. I'm not sure how other people did it but in Britain people (usually wealthy people) would build ice houses partially or fully underground so that they stayed at a constant temperature, fill them with ice in the winter and then it would stay frozen all through the summer. They'd either make things from the ice directly (if it was clean enough) or use it to freeze food and other things, including cream.

    In Tamriel I suspect it would be even easier thanks to magic. I'd be genuinely surprised if there hadn't been at least one mage who figured how to make cold drinks and probably ice cream, ice lollies and other frozen food in the middle of summer.

    I think there was some sort of underground ice chamber in Valenwood, can't remember where exactly but there was a quest to kill a frost atronach that kept their fridge-cave cold 'cause he went crazy. No more ice-cream for them! But yeah there were a bunch of meats in there.

    Yes, there is a cave in (Grahtwood? I think?) and the atronach is there for chilling alcohol. They're making rotmeth.

    This is awesome! An ice cream xp boost cart every few hours would be pretty awesome actually!

    Or just ice cream in Tamriel in general. I'm sure refrigeration wouldn't be an issue in the snowy areas!
