eXile retiring from competitive play

eXile will no longer be playing competitively, We have decided to call time on the guild. This isn't a 'Goodbye' thread but the guild will be without leadership, the guild will remain open to people who are still playing so tabards may still be seen around but will just be just friends casually playing. Its possible that the guild will close and the remaining will make a new guild but still looking into that.

It's been a nice 2+ years playing and had a lot of fun along the way, We've done every sort of PvP there is;

This saddens me. We have lost too many good guilds and players over the past few months.

When I first met you at the dawn of the game, you were a friendly guy with a goofy sense of humour and a big heart. And in all the time I've known you since, you've achieved amazing things in this game. You didn't get lucky, you worked extremely hard and fought for every success, you earned every stripe and every star.

I've been in a lot of raids, PvP, PvE, EP, AD, DC, - and in all this acronym soup, you've stood out, distinguished - a truly remarkable leader. There is no one like you.

As a DC small scaler I always liked exile. They didnt try to dominate a map and push the enemies to the gate. They wanted a competitive keep situation and therefore not killing pvp. At least it was my impression most of the times.

Back in the day we used to go for world domination until it became clear it was a waste of time. Destroying buff campaigns was our favourite thing to do then when everyone left to take another we would find out which and do same again lol. I think it was getting stuck on Thorjblade and Azura and recently Trueflame that broke our spirit.

I'm probably one of few people here that remember you guys since the very early Bloodthorn. Since that time you always been everywhere around here and one of the best opponents and parts of ESO PVP. Many of my memories (good and bad) have involved your guild I can't even describe how sad it is to read this post :'( PVP will never be the same without you, it's just fact.
