The Ayleids. Should we expect the development of history about them?

I love to play for the Dominion, because gaming locations contain a lot of historical ruins that are associated with Ayleids. The most fascinating architecture.
I hope very much, next TECO will not tell the main story about lizards and cats. It is enough, that the Nords, after TES:Skyrim, in TESO were humiliated ( they have represented just bullies and drunkards), their role in the game now is minor, like a semi - savage races, nationalities.
I read about Ayleids. Surprisingly, it has not yet created the game's development associated with them!
The main plot of the game The Elder Scrolls Online ( victory over daedra Molag Bal >:) ) takes place via aedra, Meridia o:) . Ayleids is worshiped and served aedra, according to the story. Maybe it all will be developed in The Elder Scrolls: Legends?
Please :)

First of all, Merida is a Daedric Prince herself ;-)
And if I remember my Lore correctly most Ayleids were daedric worshippers as well.

I meant that the elves are their own kind from aedra, it is their "ancestors". Meridia, I agree, in fact is a Daedra. But she - not from "House of Troubles". And she is against the rest daedra, anyway.

Depends if you consider the Altmer point of view for true, Bosmer, Dunmer and (possibly) Dwemer would very much disagree with that ;-)

And yes, Merida was a Magna-Ge that was kicked out of "Heaven", nur every Daedric Prince is scheming against each other, it's in their nature.

What interest me more than the Aylieds are the Dwemer. Their sudden disappearance, their technology. They even had machines so that ANYONE could read an Elder Scroll without going blind, mad or even dying. If an Elder Scrolls game were to be developed I'd say it should go way back to the times of the Dwemer.

    Yes, and it is also.
I just want to say that I have a surprise and discontent, such surfactant-written storyline. In the game there are many interesting scenes and places, but they are absolutely not spelled out.

I wouldn't mind going back in time to visit the Ayleids though I think they were not very admirable people even though I prefer being an elf myself. It is impossible in ESO of course as is a visit with the dwemer or the Snow Elves. Maybe the Maomer? Or can't we go visit the bad guys? I vote we allow the AD to fund an expedition to go sabotage the Maomer at home. Maybe it can be introduced at the same time we get to swim and sail our own boats?

Lovers of the Ayleids should give Oblivion a try.

There's a particular quest you might enjoy that sends you after ten Ayleid statues. You get to learn a bit about the rivalries between the various Ayleid city-states. The Knights of the Nine expansion delves a bit into the Alessian rebellion, as well. God stuff for Ayleid fans.

I sure hope so! The Ayleids are a very interesting race.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went back in time in this game (Glenumbra Moors area) and met King Dynar (One of my favorite Ayleid POI from Oblivion) Freaking cool moment for me right there and I hope ZOS continues to push through with the concept of going back in time.

That being said, if ZOS were to release an Ayleid centric DLC, I'd buy it faster than a Khajiit can run away from guards.

Id go out on a limb and say they pioneered it. From what we can gather in this game at least. Entire cities were devoted to one daedric prince or another. Much like the way Greek Cities would make one particular god of their pantheon their patron god. You were still free to pray to the other gods of course but the city itself would be devoted to a particular god.

I wanted to quote King Dynar about how crap the Ayleids were as a people, but the internet is surprisingly devoid of a list or transcript of ESO Dialogue, and I can't remember it word for word, so...there goes my thunder.

But yeah, Ayleids were fantastical builders but horrible people. I highly doubt they're missed much.

The Bosmer are Cannibals that, even though won't try to eat you outright, would still very much love to munch on your carcass if given a reason, or even desire to kill you first. Not to mention it's implied that they can turn into a ravenous, savage like people more or less on a whim depending on outside influence from the natural forces around them.

It is not necessary to consider the elves bad, because the elves depicted monsters, it is in this series of games.

If we compare the classes, it becomes clear that the creators of the game - on the side of the people, not the exotic and magical races. The game wants to impose it to us.
I was a little worried about it. I was Nord in Skyrim, I'm Nord in TECO. ))

The story of the Ayleids and Aedra simply shows, that the first in Tamriel were elves. Therefore, war of 3 Alliances is useless. Birthright belongs to the elves, and, accordingly, the Dominion.

... Of course, Dunmers (denying the power of Aedra) will never recognize, and will promote their Tribunal.

Well, first of all, Aedra were not the first in Tamriel, they created all of Mundas, at least Lorkhan and Magnus did.
The Ayleid Elves are just one of 10 branch's of the Original Aldmeris elves, who left Aldmeris so they could worship Daedra. (Well, 9 as the Altmer of Sunset Isles of 1E became known as Thalmer later in history.

There's an Ayleid involved in the main quest and during other quests in the game (there's times when you relive a moment from their past).

I do not argue, it is possible to depict elves as slave-owners,carrying evil to other races. Game have parallels with the real history of mankind, where the Greek civilization, and later Roman, was built on slavery as foundation .

However, such a system of government, carrying a positive side. It made it possible to regulate the number of backward barbaric peoples. That is, even in ancient times, the wise rulers understood the danger of the excessive growth of human populations. This is connected with the idea of "eugenics," improve the breed of people.

That is, there is a desire to keep a healthy balance between the amount of food and natural resources, and the human population.Extra lives were sacrificed to the gods, as well as weak infants sacrificed immediately in order not to produce not viable people.
Modern War - perform the same role. The regulation of the world's population.

Thus, Ayleids, their science, their research, their system of government - seems ideal to me.
