ESO has an advertisement problem

So lets skip past the part where we know what ESO bases their commercials off of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs6A-FCUPdw

ESO does not need to follow step of micro transaction fueled cell phone games. Elder scrolls is ready to make it's own mark.

We take a c-list blonde but non of the action?
The thing about our main commercials making our game into a joke; is others think of you as a joke.

How about a live action cryo battlefield? is anything over 2 actors achievable? Can ZOS even advertise itself without being a parody?

Cheers!

So you want an A-list blonde on a battlefield. Got it!!

Seriously though. Being on playstation in EU I feel as if the game is being left to be forgotten with little to no effort being put into promotion.

    I want a commercial that's not a joke.
We got a blonde either way!
Use all the money they made from the million give away to make a decent advertisement team.

    Quite contrasting right?
Maybe elder scrolls legends will make a decent commercial to pull elder scrolls online the attention it deserves.
Being a phone game and all seems to be the only requirement!

At least they can laugh about themselves - putting her into as crappy of an armor as it is in the game - with too big shoulder pieces and hip flaps. I bet she has a nice figure, but in that armor she looks like she'd prefer burgers over healthy food.

on a serious note, I think that ESO is doing very well on the population side and maybe there is currently no need to expand, because this might make the servers instable there are already login issues at prime time, they might just be at their current capacity limits.

I have (unfortunately) heard of them. I even have/had an autograph from one of them as a memento of my time in security, looking after her safety one night.

We do seem have a lot a newish players which is great, but as a AAA game that wants to be successful we need to be more well known.

I saw in my playstation store that more people get ESO plus than own the BO3 season pass.

The money is there to promote us to destiny sales level with much higher player retention...

Hardly good for a companies reputation to promote a game with so many bugs and flaws.

I think he was referring to Brigitte Bardot - that was somewhere in the stone age well, 60s/70s.

Um no I wasn't. Bardot was an Australian girl pop music band from the very late 90's into the new millennium. There was a good reason it only lasted a few years. It was horrific, that's where dear Sophie got her start.

Brigitte Bardot was an actress and a french celebrity, she did not sing afaik - eye candy of her time and he she did some ads for certain products, so that was the reason why I thought he was referring to her.

Hm, if it is for them all about that, then they did not dive into the story of intrigues and characters in the game. Some things are not coming easy to me, like I just do not understand why the youngest Stark wants to serve the many-faced-god. Well, she did not really make a choice yet, but she said lately "this girl has decided" - so I wonder what her choice will be. She tried hard, but I think she is not ready to serve the many-faced-god and never will - but maybe I am wrong.

I think the main appeal of GOT series is how it relates to our world, I'm sure anyone who watch the whole series will relate to at least one character, that said my kind of friends won't understand that so you gotta hook them with ti-ts, usually people turn fanatics for the series afterwards. Most of us lore junkies adore Elder Scrolls because it is Elder Scrolls, the lore is beautiful and so on. But if they are after another kind of audience outside the niche, action and ti-ts are the way to go as marketing.

SHOUT OUT to ZOS for taking my advice!

Instead of treating our game like some joke. They will be stepping it up with a superbowl add!

Here's to hoping we get Kate Upton as well! if they just merged adds with a carls jr I don't think most people would mind.

One of the bigest reasons you pick an MMO is actually that you like the world it is situated in.

And whille a lot of ES lore is really mind bendingly werid or.. well dark to say the least. The lore base is very deep and extremely interesting, including an excelent use of mystery, myth and false information.

If I was to advertise it I would want to use that lore, gods, evil gods, ambitious people, racial and faction friction. Then interspace it with game play shots of flashy dungeon fights and PVP keep sieges.

Also not everyone is into blondes :/ and there has to be at least 30-40% women playing this game.

actually the best way to advertise is via word of mouth. ESO is a good game. are there kinks in it? sure it does, which game doesnt. But the players themselves need to put it out there that the game is awesome.

    @Betheny

For an ESO fan the video is whimsical and entertaining.

From a sales standpoint it's cringy, uninviting and downright pointless.

This Cheesy phone game add that aired during a superbowl, was a million times better then we ever had; which was a good meter for the sad state of ESO.

Going into our own Superbowl add i'm just stoked on how far we have come.

    Cheers!
