Nerf direfrost's pressure plates

Remove them please i ve been soloing normal dungeons with my non vet alt char but direfrost 4th boss needs 2 person to activate pressure plates :(

    Having an alternative path or mechanic might be interesting, especially for the solo artists.

    It would also be interesting if we could circumvent more of the gating mechanics in Atherian Archive. I know a few people who'd love to run this with a small team. Say 6-8 people. If it weren't for all the darned pads you need to have bodies on to progress.

    This is the first time I've seen a NERF called for Ina I ate objects xD There's a lot of dungeons that have two person mechanics.

    Wgt, prison, vet wayrest, vet crypt of hearts, and dire frost all have these.

    I think all "you need x number of people to stand in certain places to open the door" type mechanics need to be removed from the game. It prevents people from attempting to solo stuff (no matter how bonkers I think they are for trying it, they should at least be able to get in and attempt it), and it doesn't add anything to the group experience that would be missed if it were removed. The same requirement should be removed from certain Craglorn quests also. The need for grouping should be in the difficulty of encounters, not the number of pressure plates to open a door.

    If you're a Nightblade you can solo Direfrost Keep by using "Shadow Image" to get behind the gate. :)

    ZOS needs to nerf Captain Blackheart though. It's not cool to be turned into a skeleton when you try to fight him on your own... :|

    I would modify this slightly.
    OPEN WORLD/quests....add all the plates and gated mechanisms you want where anyone from the population can help out so that access to numbers/builds/race/class wont be an issue.
    INSTANCED/quests...remove all mutiplayer synchronised gates as this forces a mandatory minimum player requirement rather than leave it optional.

    However, this creates problems with dungeon design, if mechanics are deliberately designed to split/seperate the group.
    Should advanced group play dungeon mechanics really be sacrificed on the altar of solo play ?


    Perhaps a 1 way split limit in 4 man normal
    Perhaps a 2 way split limit in 4 man vet
    Perhaps a 3 way split limit in 12 man normal.
    Perhaps a 6 way split limit in 12 man vet.
