BUG? -- Ball of Lightning not intercepting ANY projectiles on live server?

Last night, I attempted to test something with Ball of Lightning on live, and it wasn't intercepting anything. I tried Dark Flare, javelin, Crystal Frags, destro light attacks, Cripple, and Swallow Soul. I'm not sure if the destro light attacks count as "spell projectiles," but most of those should be intercepted by BoL...
Can someone else test this skill on live and see if you get the same results? Literally not a single projectile out of dozens was intercepted. I tested it with Sara Moon and Star.

When they nerfed the duration it no longer lasts long enough to absorb anything. It actually expires slightly sooner then the ball disappears.
We tried to tell them that, and the 2.5 secs is useless and it will no longer absorb anything due to it expiring too soon.
This is why no one uses anything but streak as BOL doesn't last long enough to absorb anything. If you BOL away from me and I shoot a frag at you the ball will expire and my drag will hit you = skill useless.Rinaldo Gandolphi-Breton Sorcerer Daggerfall Covenant

When a BoL absorbs projectiles, it intercepts them when they are fired (which also means it doesn't work on ones already fired). So when you shoot frags, and there is (only) one BoL close to the target, it will intercept when working correctly, even if it disappears before the frags arrive. Thus what the OP describes sounds very much like a bug indeed.
OP: I can't really tell wether there is actually something working wrong without a video. Staff light attacks should be absorbed, heavies not. And I'd be interested to know wether Meteor can still be intercepted... if anything.DAGON - ALTADOON - CHIM - GHARTOK
