Does Zenimax ever said something about lag fix in Cyrodiil?

Is there any official posts, comments, w/e about the lag in Cyrodiil and a possible fix?

Or are we in a "no comment" situation?

Quite literally everywhere... in posts, on eso live, in interviews, on patch notes....

Go have a look in the PvP forums for the posts / comments. Specifically from Brian Wheeler...

same answer... it's not one individual fix, but lots of smaller ones. They have been gradually introducing changes over the past 6 months or so which have been making small incremental improvements, and will continue to do so.

For what its worth... I've noticed some improvement... but at its worse the lag can still be totally unplayable.

That is a link to the ZOS twitch channel where you can view all the previous ESO live episodes which include many responses as to the state of Cyrodiil.

For me and my friends is getting worse and worse, every like 2 months we try to get back into the game beacause we had so much fun in Cyrodiil in the first 6 months (it was lag free!) and everytime we try we are so disappointed that it's just getting worse :(

Lag in Cyrodiil isn't getting any better.

The FPS improved slightly but that solved nothing for lag. They should try removing the trees next...

quite obvious from playing in cyrodiil that they haven't got a clue what it's going to take to fix it, they just keep hacking away at the problem in the hope they get lucky and something works.

Has the lag been worse in the past and did they polish it up to what it is now?

    ^This.

Cue next thread on how ZOS ignores/doesn't-care/doesn't-even-know/blah-blah-blah in 3.. 2... 1...

Seriously, it's a problem, and it'd kind of an embarrassment that they haven't managed to get a handle on it, but the idea that they don't care and pretend the problem doesn't exist is just something players believe because they want to believe it.

Zos says it's a work in progress. Read patch notes for a more complete answer.

They comment on it regularly all over the forums, in official "road ahead" style statements, etc. It's an ongoing process but they're focused more on small changes one at a time than on sweeping changes which may be more disruptive than helpful as well as more difficult to roll back expediently.

Like every other MMORPG the lag will calm down as the population goes down, remember WOW cities back in the day? Lag was a gentle way of putting it.

Are you joking right? Game is out from 2 years and it is getting worse every month. In WoW it lagged for like 3 days and it was cause of overpopulation. In ESO is not overpopulation, if there are 50 players fightning everyone get 400+ms, it is just a shame.

The game is, unfortunately, dead in PvP cause of the lag (talking about PC no idea about console) and most of the player who quit are not coming back. It could have been a great game for PvP instead it is a *** embarrassment. I'm happy for them they are selling well all those single player DLC.

I want the deer and mice brought back to Cyrodiil since @ZOS_RichLambert aka /lurk said in ESO Live ages ago that it wasn't the animal population causing the lag... Bring back the kittens!

Edit: It might've been @ZOS_BrianWheeler that said it not /lurk... I cant remember which.
