PVP lag and crashes withing 5 minutes of action

Up to about three weeks ago I could play PVP at my normal dies a lot level. For two full weeks I have found the play from noon to 8:00PM PDT unplayable.
It's been about two months since I uninstalled and downloaded the game is it time to do that again?
My system is above minimums, W10 Pro, AMD 945 3.2 GHz, 8GB, GXT 960 4GB DX12 all updates from MS
I've tried to repair the install several times with no relief from crashes.
Anyone got any ideas besides just give up and quit?
