Time for Jewelry Crafting?

We will have the cap at Champoints 160, we will have a number of sets "sunsetting", we will have a new DLC dropping.

So is now the time for Z to commit to give us jewelcrafting so we can use all our slots for player-made character wearables?
Should Z feel comfortable enough that we won't be overpowered now and unbalance the game (!)?

And should we expand on jewels beyond the 3 slots? (To include earrings, bracelets, haircombs etc.)

    It'll probably be included in the first expansion, I don't see it as something that comes standalone. The most likely scenario is when they announce the first full on Expansion will they ever introduce more crafting and active skill lines.

    I would like for jewerly to never be craftable and group content like dungeons to drop more jewerly.So there is a reason to farm them other than the monster helms.We can already craft the best gear.Jewerly should be left for dungeons drops.

    It might not be too powerful if the jewelry sets were outside of the other craftable sets with their own bonus system.

    I wouldn't mind jewelry crafting in addition to the sets we have. Yes, of course some people will be wearing 5pc Twice Born Star with 5pc Hundings or Julianos...

    ...but, it does also give us the opportunity to try really interesting builds.

    Honestly, if spellcrafting is on the back burner, jewelry crafting would be decent to hold us over in the meantime.
    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    Im not sure spellcrafting is ever coming. Part of me feels poisions borrowed from ideas had when spellcrafting was being thought up and given some work.

    In the same vein I doubt jewelry crafting is ever coming, ideas from the sub days not concerning explorable areas (i.e. Wrothgar, abahs landing, clockwork city) will probably be on the back burner so long the water evaporates.

    All I really want Jewelry crafting wise is a way to improve it quality... other than that I see no point into research traits.

    Maybe some type of Jewelry Master NPC can take this task.

    They have said they will add it when it makes sense, i wonder what kind of DLC would be in a zone that has to do with jewel crafters.

    Poison crafting has been in the game files since it released 2 years ago, they just had to toggle it on.

    I wish all sets were craftable. They can use unique drops from dungeons/trials/whatever which are then required in a crafting effort. Would be awesome.

    Allow jewelry crating but don't allow to craft set jewelry. Change/add some current mob jewelry so there will be a tradeoff between crafted and dropped jewelry. Problem solved.

    This is probably why it's not happening. Pve content would need a massive buff. Imagine twice born with 4k power and 70%+ crit. With war horn and combat prayer Rakkat doesn't have much of a chance. Would be good if they added it though I must admit, put a gold mine in the game for farming too. If they made it 9 trait required it would slow it down a touch but then proper crafters would be immensely rich.

    If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

    A true gamer will think of all the possible outcomes and execute the one that is the hardest to accomplish.
