My small man PvP guild-- we haven't been as active of late, but when we run we run usually around groups between 6-12.
Trolling the crap out of zerglings and pugs.....

Thank you for the Guild information it is much appreciated.

If I might make one observation, I have noticed a common theme among many of the AD guilds on TF. It seems that they are more focused on harassment tactics then map control. If Adamant, Broken Boundaries and Faction hackers were to focus more on Map Control with Fantasia and CoH this could possible create a more balanced server. Only a humble observation nothing more, some food for thought.

Thank you again for the information.

It is a common misconception that we do not play map control. Considering our group size, we greatly contribute, but we have not consistently played for the last week and a half. For example we have secured 4 scroll this campaign, and we always help when we see a good opportunity.

Ramming 5-8 people into the entire EP pop is simply not smart, and will accomplish little to nothing. Harassment is generally our only option. We did play a few days ago, and there was some crazy stacking going on. So many EP were concentrated in Alessia/Aleswell that we were able to take SEJ, BRK and Arrius with 5 people. Arrius even had a Scroll in it, and the fight at Alessia did not stop till we were already moving it home.

Trust me we really do try to play the objectives, but eventually it becomes too much. I honestly can not stand asking people to play in some of the server performance on TF, and trying to lead a small group during lag is miserable. Furthermore, trying to push absolute map control is fruitless when you have 1-2 bars vs 3 Bars-locked pop. By this I mean I would never go to take Roe or Brindle when EP is dominating. All it would do is encourage AD pugs to push on DC, and this is not a good thing 90% of the time in TF.

Crispen_Longbow here is smart . He's obviously done is home work . He's solving a dozen problems with one stone . I didn't get it at first but after locating this thread I instantly got it . He's promoting a healthy stable server and bringing clarity to the lost and confused . Like any good General would do . Some people have been absent or on long hiatus . This information is essential . And it's about time we had this . Keep up the good work . No plans are being shared , no TS info has been handed out . I can only see positive things come from educating the players looking to be useful .

No offense to you or OP, but this is all a little too high school for me. Who is who, who is in what clique? I'm too old for this guar dung.

Not to mention after any form of coordinated capture, it gets easily taken back, and then some, during the off hours in retaliation/boredom.

It only matters in a tactical and strategic sense. There are definitely certain patterns in enemy players you need to identify. For instance, when you see somebody with a name like millions reasons to whatever on AD, you should slot Harness Magicka and tell sorcs to negate, because that group is all magicka builds.

That's okay with me, but there are too many threads on this forum that are circle j's and I'm not in to that

I received an in-game mail from beyond the grave. It seems my post on page 2 caught the attention of the ghost of Grom Troll Stinky Fingers. The message was short and cryptic. Something about how a phoenix rises from the ashes. Seems like ESO is about to have its own Jon Snow moment.

What's important here is that I can now assure all of you that the spirit of Grom Troll is watching and listening. More specifically, to this very thread (see what good posts bring about). There are a few ways this can all shake out. Mr. Stinky Fingers returns taking corporeal form and returns to his old ways, coming after me and the COVENANT. Or, just maybe, he might reunite with his old friend Steve of VE and join the COVENANT, seeking to even the score with Haxus and Hektik for past transgressions. Or maybe neither, who knows?

    Stay tuned folks.

Everybody should know what when you see a group with bunch of stars (General, Legate, etc.) that they are just there to get a fight and get points. Very rare is it nowadays in TF that AD or DC can legitimately crown.

This is one of the first things we learned in PvP. If a group of ten or so AD shows up at Aleswell LM when AD has 2 emp keeps, do you consider that a serious threat? Nobody would take a resource like that if they wanted to cap the keep quickly. It's a dead giveaway. It is clearly an AP farm. If DC pugs can't figure that out, it is on them.

What are you talking about? I can think of maybe 2 days I have fought on that side of the map. The only time we ever actually took keeps over there was the day DC had Emp. The second time we fought there was out of boredom with the red portion of the map. We had 3 people and all the the fighting was there.

I understand though. No matter what the map looks like there will be some random in zone complaining about getting double teamed. I imagine all factions have this, and you seem to be that person for your own.Experience has taught me that arguing with these players is fruitless, and I see this as no exception. Have a nice day.

You're 100% correct except -- there is never any reason not to take Roebeck back other than that it would encourage pugs to run up to Ash. DC should stay out of Roebeck if they expect AD's help. Roebeck is an AD home keep and AD has a right to those bonuses if we are to truly say this is an AD/DC alliance.

Miniskirt? Are you that guy that spends all his time playing in that campaign with all the weak/new players? Blackwater Blade?

    Broken Boundaries

Is that why you routinely come to Glade farm or Ales lumber when EP is assaulting Ales/Glade and help them by picking off DC defenders coming out the east posterns? Because you care so much about DC? <insert eyeroll>

Some random in zone? Try the entire faction. DC is constantly being double teamed lately and it's constantly talked about in zone m. For someone who once claimed they valued competitive play....I don't think I have once seen you put your money where your mouth is.

First of all, thanks for compiling the list Crispen. Bully to you good sir.

@JDar I think the list could have just been
    • guild name
    • guild lead
    • main points of contact (an officer or two with perms to speak for the guild on occasion)
    • average group size
    • campaign
    • normal schedule/play time
That would have kept it smaller and merely a tool for those GMs to look at themselves and perhaps decide to roll onto a different server or re-work their off nights or whatever. However, I don't really see a ton that makes this thread look like much of a circle j thread outside of a few wanting their names added to their respective guild roster.
