Apparently not but I can't wait until it is.

I have used a wired xbox controller on my mac using a piece of software called 'Joystick Mapper'. It works a bit like xpadder on the pc by mapping controller inputs to mouse and keyboard inputs. Like all Mac software, it's a bit clunky to setup, but works well in this scenario.
