Combat in ESO is far more interactive. Reminds me a lot more like a FPS. And many situations and combatants require vastily different strategies to defeat.

I still have an ever changing build.

Just when you think you figured out your perfect build you will find someone who will wreck you and you then gotta figure out how you counter that.

yea i've never been "chased across the realm" unless in a dungeon.

the game is pretty easy on new players, the worst part is still the grind to get to max level.

In fairness, I never likes the way the monsters will chase you endlessly as long as they are relatively close they will continue), then immediately become invulnerable, regain health, and retreat to their starting point when you turn to engage.

It took a while to get used to the fact you can't kite over distance like in some games.

Yeah you just need to turn an tap them to reset them, the quicker you reset them the sooner you are out of combat.
