Shuffle Dodge Exposed!

Pretty eye catching title Huh?

Actually I have a video here to show ya'll. I personally do not believe this is any kind of exploit, but a very skilled player using LOS, shuffle, some sort of teleport move and invis very effectively and great heals, plus look at the damage I deal. This is an extremely skilled player and I thank him very much for his participation in this example.

Watch and comment, I'ld love to hear what you think this is, or if this is even what everyone is talking about...

The teleport is teleport strike or one of its morphs. The soul tether ultimate. Shuffle works pretty good. And has a 20 second duration. Cool vid.
Edit: the soul tether ultimate heals pretty good as well. The best thing to do when he pops that is move away to break the tether. You will feed him heals as long as you're tethered.

Maybe he was just rocking the crusader set.The set allow you to dodge attacks for additional times after dodge rolling.

This isnt shuffle every dodge you registered on him was from him dodge rolling the attack watch the vid again lol.

Lol wasn't watching that close. Though shuffle is pretty good, I was mainly watching to see how long he was going to run those guys in circles

Lol there was/is an exploit. It's evident when 90% of stamina builds use it and only a handful of those people have consistent matrix-esque dodge-chance.

I run the crusader set and often get called an exploiter by some people I defeat. But that is just because, by combining real dodges with 2400+ stamina regen and 38% dodge cost reduction, shuffle and crusader extra duration, I can stay out of harm's way for quite an amount of time.

Also fyi, your 100% dodge chance continues for 0.7 secs after the animation ends. Crusader extends this to 1 sec. Shuffle/Double Take has 20% chance to grants me 1 more sec of dodge and CAN PROC MID-REAL DODGE. So basically as long as I remember to dodge every 2 or 3 seconds, good luck hitting me. But keep in mind, for this kind combat style, I can left with little stamina to fight and also my damage is much lesser as I am forced to stack regen. Also all my green stars go to stamina regen and dodge cost reduction. So I don't have any ability cost reduction as well. So basically, I am prioritising heavily on defense than offense so I have to make every occasional attack count and bursting down people are a good lot harder and if they have good defense, I am very likely to die when my stamina runs out.

I saw him land more attacks than he missed/dodged.

Mostly just seemed like a playing make good use of line of site, healing and dodge rolling to keep himself alive. It's also not like he killed the people following him and won the feild so it's hardly "broken" as he lost.

The rage for this whole thing is simply that you can't kill a player?

Maybe the people hunting him should have used flair, mage light, detection pots and covered the area better? Can't fault a palyer for being good against bads.

Its not OP though - once someone worked out that all it took was a mark target it was all over.
Players moan all the time about it but there was so much they could have done to stop you and kill you.

Caltrops would have ended that fight 10 mins earlier and there would be no op god NB doing what he wants.

BTW I play 2 NB's. 1 stam 1 magicka.

Hahaha, what dmg output?
I literally saw an occasional 4-5k hit but nothing special.

He dodges most attacks with a dodge-roll btw.

P.S. you might want to use Boundless Storm to increase your movement speed, you're very slow for a sorc.

Are you seriously using Soul Trap as spammable dmg ability on a magicka NB?

And what an unusual tactic to spam Healing Ward while everyone is at full-health.

I wouldn't call that broken though... when a player can escape through clever use of Line of Sight, amongst other abilities like mist form/tele strike/Invis/shuffle etc etc - that's just playing smart.

What is it with players automatically thinking that if they try to kill a player, the player must die, unless the player gets killed in return? evading is tactical!

OP, yes. Exploitable, no. It's a buff like any other buff. If you're able to stack said buff by exploiting then you'd be able to stack any other buff. So why's shuffle so special? If players have found a way to exploit shuffle then they'd be able to reproduce this with other abilities. ZOS may not have the best reputation when it comes to exploits/bugs, but they've already posted multiple times that it's not possible to exploit.

I find this game funny and dont pvp in it because I see people like this take on 10-30 people at a time. Yea he does not kill them but he gets hit by like 10+ people all at once for ages and lives? Lol ok, much game play. Yea it might be skill and all that but its just stupid to see 10-30 people bashing on someone and them just strolling around like its cool haha.

Looks stupid, way to unrealistic for their created world reality.

Lol, hey now I blame no one! There are no clips of shuffle stack etc, this was the closest thing out there. Just wanted to show what people could be experiencing. No rage, hate, blaming etc just love

The ability has been there forever . The complaints didn't start until CP was introduced . Remember kids , where you put those points matter .
