Combined Alliance War Rank?

hey guys id like to make a proposal how about having a combined alliance rank? like between all characters? so that you would always have a cool rank even on a low level toon or if not maybe keep the titles of AVA ranks :)

    I have to agree with Abraxus, there is no reason to make these account wide or character combined now you can level the skill line so fast.

    Remember that if this is account wide or combined it would also have to grant every level 1 character skillpoints and skills.

    This would be a mess to try and separate though.

    You could take the achievements and make those account wide but keep the characters actual rank as normal, but then you'll have the case where a character might display a rank 40 title/icon but not have the skills unlocked.

    You can't make the entire alliance war rank account wide because then you have to give the SP to every character on that account because there is no other metric to tell the game when you should earn each rank SP.

    The only way I could see this working is to make two level bars, one which is account wide and only does achievements and titles and one which is per character and handles the skill line and SP unlocks.

    This seems to be a great deal of work for them to do for something which is a minor issue. Most people don't care that much about the alliance war rank on their alt character only the skill unlocks which they have made very accessible now.

    Make it a option i know people like abraxus sanct etc wouldnt want it to be enforced but a option would be amazing.

    I don't like it and I have a 33 Temp, 29 DK, 27 sorc, 23 NB. Shared rank bw classes would be cool but imo you gotta put the time in with the class to get the rank.

    How about alliance wide? Raise the ranks, just give other chars the SP i dont see a problem with this at all, you still have to earn them the first time

    Im at least warlord again on the chars i made after rank 50, and pretty much everyone in my guild would be rank 50 if it became shared.

    Skill points is an issue, instantly having extra 50 skill points is not cool, but everyone that has 50 AP Rank probably has every class in magicka and stamina...

    On X-Box you see only account name of players, so if someone has 8 chars - they will all have the same name. Not super difficult to understand if you should run or engage as you know exactly who you are facing. (P.S. I don’t care who I am about to fight).
    I do think there should be some kind of feature that would enable you to understand if the opponent is an experienced PvP or not.

    So you want alliance titles to level like CP, but you want the character leveling in Cyrodiil to remain as is (with the current requirements for unlocking skills and skill points)? Seems pointless to me. Better for the title to be the indicator of the accomplishments of individual characters. No need to add counter of total Cyrodiil levels across characters.
