Stam dk heavy attack no WB in DB?

Just a question, i play a stam dk and love the new poison damage and have always used the stam flame morphs in both pvp and pve, so with the change to wrecking blow will it be better to run rally , molten weapons with the 40% heavy attack damage and just HA instead of using Wb. Would go nice with the sergents mail set that gives 20% to HA and maybe waighted on weapon. Any thoughts or is it just rubbish?

Sergeants Mail + Molten Weapons could be interesting for a heavy attack build.
If you rely a lot on heavy attacks you wont need so high regen which means you can stack more into weapon dmg.

In regards to Wrecking Blow, the morph that gives the 20% empowered bonus would also help to buff heavy attack dmg.

It would be really interesting if there were more pieces for Sergeants Mail so you can replace the head and shoulders for 2pc Mephala.

You can weave HA with WB. Why not do both with the empowered morph?

Its more for the extra bar slot, was thinking rally, crit charge, excute, breath, strike on main bar then molten, vigor, wings, caltrops, reverb bash on off bar.

As a personal pref running just 2h abilites on my main bar just looked rubbish - if i choose a class i wanted mostly class skills on my bars

Just for the record, weighted trait doesn't increase your heavy/light attack speed, it reduces the GCD on abilities.

Hmmm gcd sped up.. Normaly when i animation cancel it wouldnt mater but since i would need to do a full HA it may still be usfull, on ps4 agaisnt mobs my HA is noramaly around 24k crits which is around my wb crits so without the stun in db it may hit for the same - if it does it would come down to cast times

No, that's not how it works at all. Your heavy attacks still take the same amount of time to charge and since they take long enough to overwrite the GCD between attacks, weighted will actually have 0 effect on this build. Garbage trait is garbage, there's 0 reason to run weighted.

Also, heavy attacks take longer than WB to charge

And thats was the point i was looking for, if both did the same damage then it came to cast time. Thank you i will get wb in the build, will prob use raverger and go five heavy - prefear a tanky spec and i use black rose at the moment no real issues unless against a stam nb.. For pve i tank vet raids so this dosnt effect my pve play
