This is really interesting...
I personally believe there's a lot of truth in it, and that most of our history has been cleverly brushed away and told in books, movies and the like, purely just to come across as fiction and fairy tale, but I've always seen the truth in a lot of that... especially after coming across articles like this! where it really gets you thinking... some of these creatures look like the kind of creatures you'd see in The Elder Scrolls and Professor Tolkien's work.

✭✭✭✭✭Why would the sketched image of the fairy be of the decrepit, decaying fairy? Wouldn't the image be of the fairy when it was mounted? That would mean the sketch should be that of a freshly dead fairy. While I do believe that the world is more than what modern science/society/convention says it is, I think most of these sorts of things are fantastical creations of those with wild imaginations and imaginative aspirations.
Cool images on the site though.
