PC NA:

Listed a stack of 16 tempering alloy for 8800 instead of 88000, noticed it when the MM sale notification popped up and was immediately sad. Rezoned and another message popped up, whoever had bought it sent me it back with an 8800 COD and wrote that they felt bad because they knew I missed a 0. Definitely made my day and I have done the same for someone else since!

had some people help creat my pve sorc build to make her an assassin. sure its not the best dps but it is fun. they respected that and did not try to convince me to go with the meta instead they rolled sorc and got to 50 to help me make a workable build. Oddly these where not guildies.

My guildie gave me a promotion and 20k and kind words

Another time someone who killed me messages me tips to improve that were actually helpful and they were kind about it.

As for me, I have given away gold and full crafted sets and motifs and willpower gear. I also help people level enchanting because I know how hard it is by sending them every glyph I get for them to Decon. Sometimes I see people asking for small amounts of gold in zone and I usually give them more than they are asking. I am thinking I will give away a full crafted set to my irl friend next after I confirm best in slot. 5x hundings, 4x night mother, 3x agility I was thinking for stam nb and DK dps.

i gave up on PvE, that fixed it for me haha. 95% of the content is a breeze anyway but for my new mag nb and stam dk it would be nice to get a group together by use a chat box to get my undaunted level 9. i would never ever pay twice for this game after knowing what i know now.. so going to pc is out of the question hahaha. Makes me think the devs may have a planned TESO2 up their sleeves and were just testing the water with this shoddily maintained release ... if that is their case then my suggestion for rule #1 for TESO2 would be .. if something is broke, do not wait 3 months to fix it (toppling charge aside hahaha)

I was once on a lowbie character in Orsinium, trying to open a chest with a giant nearby. Said giant attacked and killed me just as another (higher level) player came running up. Before porting to the wayshrine, I watched the player finish off the giant and open the chest.
I then received a mail from that player, with the contents of the chest included and a very nice note saying that because I had gotten to the first before him, he thought it only fair that I have the items.

Such a refreshing and kind gesture that made my day!

They did say end of this year.. which would mean the game was released 18 months before a chat box was introduced - then again they also promised PvP elements of thieves guild but we have seen how quickly they seem to change their minds hahaha

Now that I think of it, somebody actually did something nice and rather polite. You know these Imperial City Sewers chests that spawn Daedra and often contain 340+ stones? I opened one and just as another player arrived I was finishing the last daedra and he opened the chest later on, I knew what happened. Then I saw the chest didn't disappear and he left all the content inside, leaving it for me to take. Saying he thought it was me who found the chest originally.
A few minutes later I whispered to him, giving him my gratitude, not for these petty Tel Var stones but for the act of politeness which I haven't seen done by somebody else to me since like forever. I wanted to say my thanks in gold, so I sent hm a certain amount of gold, which he refused. My misanthropism became weaker.

Reversed situation:

I can't recall anyone doing something nice for me simply out of kindness without the outcome which would result in their profit. I am just almost naturally too nice to newcomers in new zones, I need to come around once in a while and do nice things for them. Just today I went out of Cyro, gave 10k to my 22lvl friend that needed more inventory space, then more money for bank space, also bought him all the blue motif books. It was amazing seeing him so excited.

Other guy that asked about enchanting ended up getting 20k for a horse, more bank and inventory slots, 8lvl, blue quality set - 5x Hunding's Rage, 4x Ashen Grip with crafted enchants and style of his preference. Also some valuable advices for start. I was yet again heartwarmed by seeing him being so shocked how easily NPCs fall down to him, lol.
All of this happened just a few hours ago, so that's why I wanted to mention it because their reaction really made my day.

there was one other funny moment in pvp where we were versing blue and getting wrecked like unstoppable force and i went to other side of the fight in other words "I'm not retreating,i'm just advancing in a different direction" lol as i was " advancing in a different direction " i ran into the yellow player and we both stopped and i think we startled each other a bit and behind me there were 4 blues coming towards us i done " group up" ( im not sure if he was able to see it) but i done few shoots with the staff in blue direction and once when they got close we killed them ive done the thank you and few other emoticons showing my gratitude and he done the same and both with laughter one in front of blue bodies LOL waived our goodbyes and we went our separate way that reminded me " enemy of my enemy is my friend" lol
