ESO Game Crash - Way too frustrating to play!

ESO is starting to become unplayable with the number of game crashes.

I have experienced 5 game crashes in less than two hours.

Group play, freak, any play type actually, is impossible, the number of times the game is crashing is now more frequent and absolutely frustrating.

This has nothing to do with internet connection seeing that other programs are working perfectly fine.

Please ESO dudes and dudettes ... help us out here ;-)

On xbox one thing that they say helps is deleting your saved profile from the console. This doesn't delete your characters however as that information is saved server side.

It will force a small download from the server when you load the game next, and it will be back. Give it a shot.

64bit - crash to Log-In screen hourly... No joke! I timed it. almost exactly 1 hour intervals.
Also, pink textures gone. FPS is up. Sound Bug still there, but not as frequent.
On 32bit, I too still CTD and Crash to Log-In, but not as much as 64bit.
    Disabled add-ons but no help.

I've been running pretty smooth since the last patch even on 64 bit, PC/NA. Hopefully you find a fix to your issue soon, 5 crashes in less than two hours would have me raging. I don't think I've crashed 5 times this entire year.

In that case you probably AREN'T having the problem I was having, but in case anyone reads this who IS having random crashes of the entire computer while playing games: check your graphics card.

My problem ended up being a failing fan on the graphics card.

Wife and I have been playing this game since launch and have never once had a crash to desktop....until Thieves guild. Now my wife can rarely play without it crashing after 5-10 minutes, sometimes she goes an hour. I can play more reliably than her, but I get occasional crashes myself that I never had. 64 bit doesn't seem to make a huge difference. She has been working with support off and on for the last few weeks, sending reports in and some of the responses that she gets are super concerning... Like she would get asked to try things shes already been asked or would have been corrected with the previous fix attempt. Pretty much at the point where we would probably just need to reinstall windows at this point... Yet she can play games like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 for half a day with no issues on a regular basis. We both have Nvidia 770 cards which are running DirectX 11 on Windows 10.

We just miss ESO and want to play together :( You can only kill so many raiders and trashbots.

PC / NA...Sound Bug still there, but not as frequent.

Sound bugs depend on the location, some areas have tons and some have few or none, plus amount of time logged into game. You'll find them again, don't you worry :3

Ya i have been crashing since last few patches, sometimes its takes a few hours, sometimes like 30 mins or less, can happen 4 or 5 times in the run of 6 hours or so. I hit the submit bug report, but don't know if that is actually useful lol.

My rig ran pretty stable after TG dlc, just seems to be getting worst as far as crashing is concerned, plus my keys dont work sometimes in PvP and thats where most of my crashing happens, seems like the more they "try" to "fix" 64 bit the worst its becoming (crashing) for me anyways.

Even had one error I have never seen before, no number etc, just one word, no submit button etc, I forget what the word was though lol. may have been "corrupted" or some such.

Then you are most likely being disconnected from the game and its an internet issue, that is not really a crash a crash closes he game.

PC games will still have a profile file. You could still delete that, and the same thing will happen. For PC games it's a fix I've used on WOW, SWTOR, AND SWG (Star Wars Galaxies.)

You can try some of our fixes in here, I don't guarantee they'll work though they might do something. I don't recommend changing the MTU/LSO until it's the last option you can possibly do. I had it the instant I was able to log into the game on a completely new rig. CS tried to play it as a connectivity issue and I knew it wasn't.

After countless hours of searching and testing, we finally pinpointed it to either the Addons or the SavedVariables. Don't just disable them (did that and it resulted in the same crashes, no idea WHY it was doing that, but it's something that's overlooked by CS and troubleshooting with this problem). Completely take them out of that directory and test. If you still crash without those folders there might be more things you can do. Worth the try though! Good luck!

Definitely worth removing (not simply disabling) any addons, as well as undoing any overclocking, and if that doesn't help then providing us with detailed specs including graphics card and driver version, memory, processor etc.

Crash to login screen? You mean a disconnect from server? That never happens to me. CTDs are a plague tho.

I'm on PS4 - I was getting numerous crashes that sometimes meant I'd be trying for half an hour to get back into the game - mostly it would crash on entering/exiting caves or fast travelling. It would get stuck on the loading screen, and after 2-3 minutes it would say "This may be an unusually long loading time", which would pop up again about 2 minutes later and then it would kick me back to the main menu and tell me to "check you have a valid internet connection".

Posted a ticket, got the usual "check your console's internet connection, blah blah blah". I changed my wireless to a wired connection but made no other changes (Primary & Secondary DNS were already at their recommended 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively). But I also changed from "Appearing Offline", which was with the last PS4 update, around the time of the last patch (and/or TG DLC); since I made these changes last Wednesday I've had 2-3 of the same login issues and one crash on entering a cave. So it's better but not fixed entirely... -____-

lately, i get kicked at the beginning of each session, once, twice, three times, maybe more - some days.

otoh, once that sort of thing stops, the game runs quite well, even in cyrodil, for the most part.

Well I was constantly getting "ESO Has Stopped Working" CTD's when I was using the 32 bit client. What would usually happen is that I was start seeing pink textures and then I knew that a crash was incoming, and usually a few minutes later it would crash. It was really getting frustrating. In desperation I went back to the 64-bit client and I haven't had a single crash since. I still get the sound weirdness that I know ESO is currently working on, but at least I can play the game now.

Yeah, this is getting out of hand for me. I didn't have any crashes at all, and now its like every hour or something. It started like 2 weeks ago, and I am not sure why. No new downloads, no new addons(I even erased them with no help),

I went from playing for 4 months with not one crash, then all of a sudden i crash daily...........starting a few weeks ago.

And the static is so loud on 64 I dont want to play it, help us out ZOS.

As i already wrote in a different thread... since this morning's patch my game (both 32 and 64 bit version) give me huge delays when using skills, insane high ping rates followed by crashes and then problems logging in.
In cyrodiil tonight I even was not able to move without crashing.
Up to yesterday I never crashed because of the issues i have right now.

Graphic card is okay (did test as suggested in an earlier response).

    :(
