So basically, was discussing whether precise or sharpened was better of an off hand bow. They mentioned precise for crit vigors ticks and such.
But does vigor work like proxy det? You cast it on your off bar but if you switch to your front bar does the crit% go off your front bar or the bar you casted it?, does the healing go off your dmg when you cast it or whatever your dmg is on the bar your on?
Same with skills like poison injection, caltraps etc...

This isn't to do whats traits better overall but more of how skills dmg/crit chance/ etc.. is calculated when you switch bars.PS4 EU DC

BeardedOrphan✭✭✭I am pretty sure that when you switch bars the skill that you used on your back bar will scale to the stats of your front bar, but i still believe it is better to use precise on bow back bar.PS4 NA

✭✭✭✭Abilities will scale off the bar you're on when they heal/deal damage.
The benefit of precise bow bar is that you'll often be on that bar while dodge rolling, due to the hasty retreat passive, thereby, making your vigor/rally heals more likely to crit.
In the case of poison injection you'll be only getting the higher crit chance on the initial shot then switching to your 2h bar where you'll likely be running sharpened weapons and get the benefit of extra penetration for the DoT ticks that take place on that bar.Edited by Lexxypwns on May 17, 2016 8:49PM1 -
