Vicecannon Of Venom Set - Nice!

I think it looks really promising with a big poison DoT with a heal. With the right CPs, you'd be looking at 16000 DoT plus 16000 heal.

Two for the price of one type deal.

The specs for Vicecannon set are:

(2 Items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(3 Items) Adds 967 Maximum Stamina
(4 Items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
Stealth attacks inject poison, dealing 13280 damage over 15 seconds + Heals you for same damage

For a nightblade, that's a BIG hit on top of your burst.

I am not sure if the heal is a HoT or a burst at the end or purge of damage.

Does anyone have any info?

Thinking about running this with 4 morkuldin to get 258 weapon damage, 1934 stam, 258 recovery + poisony goodness>>>

I think if you're planning on Ganking, 5pc Alchemist would be better. Just chug potion into whatever bursty opener. Neither the dot nor the heal from that set are too impressive. You want to kill targets before they have a chance to respond from stealth, so they DOT from the set should rarely run much of it's duration.

Consider that the damage and heal will likely be halved in PvP.

I guess it's a ~1000 heal+ same damage ticking once a second for 15 seconds. Not bad if you plan to stay in the fight for 15+ seconds, but not very useful for a gank build.

In pvp, it's only around 400-500 heal/damage per sec, so... idk, seem not really worth it. In pve, it can't proc on multi targets -> also not very useful.

i couldn't purge it on pts so i guess its a hot.

I got very excited when I saw this set,but analyzing and thinking about it...I think I will pass. I came to the conclusion that it wont be very useful tbh and doesnt fit with a burst gank build. It would fit better with my magblade than with my stamblade but of course this is not a magicka set. If that set was a magicka one with the same 5 set bonus my ghostly magblade would be even more irritating.

Anyway,maybe I will buy and test in IC.

Yes, I have come to the same conclusion.

I was looking at the poison as an accompanying bonus to a burst that didn't do the job, but in hindsight and with some good advice, I think it's probably gimmicky.

This set is something I wanted to try out at first on my StamBlade NightBow, but considering that the set effect only works from stealth... I think I'm better off using the Essence Thief set which is useful for gank and regular combat or the Clever Alchemist set for a more powerful gank

I'm pretty sure the specs are (2 items) adds 967 Max Stamina and (3 items) is 129 weapon damage

14k damage. cut in half in pvp. 7k damage. 7k ticks over 15 seconds. 466 damage per second. yeah real bursty.....
