Fishing question

Although this might not be of any interest to most I was going to start the achievements for fishing so I can obtain the dye's...Although, I've a question;
The reason I'm asking is that I've been trying to obtain the one on Stros M'kai for several hours now and have had no luck.
- Do I need special bait to collect the rare fish or can I catch them by simply using the normal bait from Merchants?

There are no real 'rules" for fishing.You can use any bait anywhere you choose.Thing is if you want to catch fish and not get used bait,you need to know which bait to use where.
For oceans,it is Worms,and chub.You'll get Dhufish,Longfin,minnows and wet gunny sacks.(which have items hidden in them)

It says it is about farming perfect roa,but it tells you about all the needs you'll have.
