As for the dead horse...can't help ya.

If you are on PC there is an add on that allows for first person riding that is quite nice.

Would love to interact with furniture and do certain emotes, like 'play lute'.

Would also love if the console emote wheel was expandable, similar to the wheel on PC Battlefield 2. That's one wheel they don't need to limit the number of options on.
Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

    XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

It would be cool to have Torches/Magelight again. I hated using torches on a sneaking character though. I always just turned my brightness up on my TV, or just played a Khajiit for their night vision lol.

But it may make combat a little more annoying in dungeons though.

    :p;)

But agreed, I would love it if they added torches that one could walk around with. I would like to see them added to the costume slot, and use the same "destroy on combat" mechanic like disguises... only dropping an temporary "torch on ground" effect when they do unequip.

And of course I would also love it if they reviewed their dungeon lighting considerations, to make at least some of them into places where an extra light would be needed, no matter if torch or magelight, or something...

Oh, well. Just another of those paths not taken that would have made the game so much cooler...

Indeed, hell, make them a weapon!
In the end, it's basically a club yer holding.
Which happens to be on fire...
    Twice a win!
Not to mention if you run into a Khajiit Vampi... DAMN!!!!!

Let's not go there, shall we.
But yes, make it a weapon whilst holding it.
Twice the fun for one item!

And DO add 1FPV for WW and Horse Riding?

    I totally agree @bedlom , I made a post a while back ( over a year now) about torches

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/155836/the-need-for-functional-torches/p1
    Gidorick wrote: »
We have discussed it before but there hasn't been a thread dedicated to it.

The mechanics for torches already exist in game. The /torch emote produces a torch that is functional. A slight tweak to the radius and intensity of the torches and they will be ready to go for dungeon delving. To accommodate this, darker nights and darker delves would be a good idea.

    ThVmNrD.jpg?1

Torches should be acquired through the following means:
    • NPC Merchant
    • Looted from containers
    • Pulled from sconces
    • Crown Store Torch Pack

Torches could eventually be added as a Craft-able item but this wouldn't be necessary. Other Elder Scrolls Games didn't allow Torches to be crafted so ESO could follow suit. There could be different torches of differing quality.

    Torch Qualities
    • Duration of flame
    • Radiance of flame

    Torch Types
    • Junk: Radiance the same as the current Torch Emote. 60 second duration.
    • Normal: Radiance twice as powerful as Junk Torch. 60 second duration.
    • Fine: Radiance twice as powerful as Junk Torch. 150 second duration.
    • Rare: Radiance twice as powerful as Normal Torch. 150 second duration.
    • Epic: Radiance twice as powerful as Normal Torch. 300 second duration.
    • Legendary: Radiance twice as powerful as Rare torch. 420 second duration.

Torches packs purchased from the Crown Store should be those of Legendary quality.

Illumination duration would be total time used, so if a player puts the torch away for any reason, the timer pauses. This could be supported by torches that have been used at all being converted to "Used Torch" with a consumption bar similar to an enchantment. Once consumed completely, the torch disappears. Players would want to keep a small stack of torches on them and when one torch is used up, a new torch is auto-equipped in its place.

Torches should be able to be equipped as a one-handed weapon. This way, a player could wield a sword and torch, a torch and shield, or just a torch by itself.

    0OTbImx.jpg?1
The bottom image would be the Legendary Torch.

    Thoughts?

As for the "Torch Personality"... That is a great example of getting what you want in completely the way you didn't want it. Giving us a way to have a torch that doesn't involve consuming the torch or equipping the torch (like in previous TES games) is kind missing 1/2 the point of the torch.

    Oh well... such is ESO.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

Well, one thing is, adding it to be actually useful would mean they need to redo most of the game's dungeons and the likes.
Right now, all is very visible, save for the Dark Room.
They'd have to remove the lighting in it, to make it actually feasible...
But they can't, I mean, there are NPC's... we can't have them bumping into one another in that darkness, can we?
Not to mention walls, or Gods forbid, fall over edges...

Its odd because if you back into a wall while being in third person, then it goes to first until you move away from it. Same when riding your mount. Get too close to a wall and it literally goes to first person view (console versions). But then when you move away it goes back to third and you can't go in to first. I don't understand because it seems the coding is already in the game without needing a mod. It just isn't "enabled".

It's not actually going into 1PV, the camera is just forced forward... unless consoles use a different system there...

I understand what you are saying.. But when you are in third person not mounted and that happens, the camera is literally switched to first person. I have attacked and it is the same exact thing as being in first. With the mount, I have moved around and messed with it to the point of thinking that it is. I mean.. The camera can't just push forward without it being programmed to do so, right? It pushed forward right into first person view.

Yes, what I said, somewhat, but that might be some task...
    Also, actually DARK nights.

NOTE: Khajiit, Vampire and WW in transfomration should have low-light vision.
Naturally, this would be entirely not functioning in say a cellar, but...

Drawing/stowing effect from enchanted staves is enought to put some light around.
But anyway there is no more really dark places in eso, which would really need special illumination, imho.
