Im not sure where Id settle down. Ive gotten really attached to the idea Ive started to mold in my head regarding a Mercenary Company having a fortified hill in their possession. If you've ever seen images of a Viking town or village on a hill with different levels of fortification. That would be my home.

Cyrodiil

I love these types of questions! This is a tough one for me because I love all of the places, but my choice for living was between Summerset Isles, Cyrodiil and possibly Skyrim (Winter is my favorite season). I decided to go with Cyrodiil because I would love to live in the Imperial City. It's the heart of the empire, it's beautiful and I feel like it would be very well protected (when there isn't a war happening there that is).

My personal rankings for my most likely living locations. 1 is most likely and 10 is least likely

I could consider Elsweyr but I haven't seen it. I like Khajit architecture though so I might choose a Khajit town in the Summerset Isles. For as much as I am a tree person and I love Valenwood, the Bosmer can be a bit offputting, what with the whole Green Pact thing and all.

I doubt there are any khajiit towns in the isles, closest you'd get is khenarthi's roost

You're probably right but there is Redfur Trading Post in Grahtwood so it does appear that if the kitty cats are living there they keep their own style.

Cyrodiil I think would be the region least likely to kill me for being a skinny human geek. I like Skyrim and parts of Hammerfell, but the former is too cold and the latter too dry for me.

One day I hope we see an elsweyr-focused expansion/dlc for ESO that includes all of the various subspecies of khajiit, from alfiq to senche-raht. Would love to explore the southern reaches of elsweyr and mingle with my feline brethren.

Cyrodiil

I would have to choose Cyrodill mostly because of the multi-climate landscape which is mostly shown in Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion's game world. Up by Bruma has snow areas shown similar to Skyrim, down by Skingrad shows a more tropical area, and down by Layawiin is a swamp like area, so it's like living in 3 different areas of the Elder Scrolls world in one place. Now I would probably live near Layawiin mostly to stay away from the ongoing war between the three factions. I have to say it saddens me that Layawiin isn't show in ESO, but it is technically a part of Cyrodill, yet the Cyrodill that is shown in ESO in my opinion is rather incomplete. Maybe they will add it in a future DLC as one can hope, like with Dark Brotherhood is adding Skingrad & Kvatch which are also a part of Cyrodill.
