I don't see how you think you are being "shafted". You have already received your perks for being an ESO+ subscriber. The tiger was a gift for those of us who propped up the game when it was a mess and basically a paid beta. And IMO we are the only ones who are entitled to it.
Besides if they do what you are requesting they would then have to appease PC owners who have been an ESO+ subscriber since its inception. And that would defeat the object of introducing the Loyalty Senche in the first place.

Wouldn't that apply to people begging for a mount in an online game that was made specifically to be an exclusive for those players who supported the game from the beginning?Blackbird71 wrote: »But seriously, I have to shake my head in astonishment at the arrogance and selfishness of some players!

The entitlement is strong with this one; get off your high horse/tiger. A 16-month pre-order is a long time to support a game in advance; if it had been me, I'd honestly have been looking for a refund for failing to deliver before that time had passed. I see no problem with offering early console players/preorders something for their loyalty, and this is a reward that was offered for similar dedication on PC.
But seriously, I have to shake my head in astonishment at the arrogance and selfishness of some players!

Where did I say I demand the mount? It should be mine and no one else'? That Zenimax owes me? Perhaps a dictionary will enlighten you on what the word "entitled" means

The tiger mount was an exclusive reward for PC players who stuck with the game and put in their time and money to keep it going when it was most in need. You didn't put in that time or money, but you want the exclusive mount. You didn't have the prerequisites to earn the mount, and so you think you should get it anyway by being treated to it in a way that was not intended from the start (one might say in a special way).
Hmmmmmm.
For the record, I'd have been alright if it was a matter of people earning it in a very similar way. But then character judgements were thrown around at the people who were pointing out that it had its prerequisites known for a while that were available to anyone to complete.

Well, I mean, not counting that 'having it forever' part, that's kind of how the world works. Anyone could put on that pre-staining and so if they chose not to and they get the stain then I guess they get the stain, don't they? I won't say that they deserve to have it, but I'd say it's certainly deserving of someone who put on something to prevent stains to not get those stains! You could have had the mount had you done the thing that allowed you to earn the mount in the first place - that very thing that they said would need to be done to get the mount and, surprise, is the thing that needed to be done to get the mount! You didn't do that thing needed to get the mount, so you didn't get it!
I honestly don't know how much clearer and logical it could be put. You complete a prerequisite before the deadline to get something. If you don't complete that prerequisite before the deadline, you don't get that something. Should I go up to my professor three weeks after my assignment's due and say "Hey, I know I'm three weeks late and I could have done this assignment on-time since it was given to me at the same time as everyone else, but can I get an A instead of an F? I didn't want to do it then but I want to get an A like the other guy who did it on time."
Just as a note, it's generally easier to get some sympathy from people when you don't call them entitled and/or support the notion of them being entitled; and for someone who's supposedly not demanding to get the mount, you take great offense to people who are either indifferent or leaning on the other side of keeping it exclusive to its original prerequisites.

If you waited for the announcement of what to do for the tiger mount it would already have been to late to get it. You needed 300 days of subscription they gave around a month notice for the cutoff and you could only buy 6 months worth of subscription in advance. The only people that could get the tiger were people that had been subscribed for at least 3-4 months before the announcement.
I see your point it just isn't fair to say people waiting for console release had an opportunity to get the tiger when they announced it, they didn't. Only people that were playing the game already on PC did.

Actually, it was 300 PAID days. You could, theoretically, buy 300 days then and there and become eligible. I know a few friends who didn't do this exactly but bought several extra months to cover it to get the mount.
I originally said nothing about anyone in particular and in fact wasn't even replying to you. I was replying to Blackbird71 who somehow managed to figure out everyone's character through the Internet that they're simply entitled, selfish, and arrogant if they believe that an exclusive reward should remain exclusive to those it was awarded to. Fired back with a mirrored example of people who'd demand the exclusive reward, given the stage was set for extremes. Yet never did I refer to you or your specific request. Never did I mention anyone else in the thread but Blackbird71.Ragnar_The_Red wrote: »DerAlleinTiger wrote: »Ragnar_The_Red wrote: »DerAlleinTiger wrote: »Ragnar_The_Red wrote: »DerAlleinTiger wrote: »Wouldn't that apply to people begging for a mount in an online game that was made specifically to be an exclusive for those players who supported the game from the beginning?Blackbird71 wrote: »But seriously, I have to shake my head in astonishment at the arrogance and selfishness of some players!

Your home work assignment point. Again, invalid interpreting. If it was available on console and I missed it. Then that would rightly be 100% my own fault. It would be comparing them changing an arranged interview date (Console release getting delayed. To now you're out of town and the interview took place without you. Then you calling or speaking to their manager stating what transpired and that you would LOVE the OPPORTUNITY to show you what you can do - aka not DEMANDING it. So again, you're lying about me claiming to be "entitled". Entitled is DEMANDING something and DEMANDING preferential treatment. I stated I'd love the OPPORTUNITY to earn it as it would improve the quality of life of the game for me. No where do I take offense to people saying too bad so sad. What I'm disappointed at, is your false claims of me acting "entitled" by me saying how awesome it would be to have the chance to earn something that I previously didn't have the chance because not everyone has a computer. (me at the time of it's release). If you were debating with facts as opposed to synical opinion, I'd genuinely respect your opinion.
Just a note, I appreciate everyone's feedback on here even the ones saying too bad Alex Trebec in a Sean Connery voice. I am just amused by you picking and choosing what you want to see and creating a falsehood. You'd make a fantastic journalist.

One way to enhance the ESO experience further, would be to have the opportunity to acquire this beautiful mount.
