I am thinking in some new things for this game:

- Housing with farms in own realms no need extra land, no archeage land disaster
- Separate factions into continents for sea trade rutes betwen continents and ship battles
- Trade routes by land with a special slow mount like a pack mule
- A Bard class

Thanks

PD. Apologies for may bad grammar

This isn't Archeage. They can't just change the map with our lore being from previous game installments.

    Sorry. Not going to happen.

These ideas are pretty nice.I could see how they would work nicely.Though the ship battles might be a bit hard to implement.

If they suddenly rearranged the map and everything, it would NOT be an Elder Scrolls game. Tamriel is one continet on the planet Nirn. Let me guess, you never played previous Elder Scrolls games before you came to the MMO? They'd lose a TON of loyal players if they just threw the lore to the wind and did whatever they wanted.

    Oh,sweety,..you are so wrong.
I have been playing Morrowind since it came out, have Skyrim on Steam, and I also mod MW a little.
I am one of those loyal players you attempt to speak for. Also,I've played quite a few MMOs in my time.
New ideas can be interesting, and if you knew anything about the modding of a ton of those loyal TES players, you'd know they love new continents. There are several that were made for MW alone.
I personally am happy with Tamriel as it is in ESO,but dream of the day they add Vvardenfell (I wont hold my breath). However, to deny other people something they might enjoy and that ZOS could gain revenue from is not my thing.
    ps,
I have no need to watch anyone's video.I have the books for each game, and know about a lot of the lore. Not all of it,but enough.I learn more all the time,as it is endless.
Oh,and just an fiy,..read my signature.

I can't read your signature. I use the forums on my mobile device.

Anyway, while I LOVE Skyrim mods, I know they are not cannon. They are not part of the original world. ESO needs to stick with it's current theme.

If they want to add sailing, they can give each faction an island to defend. But I do not want to see the map broken up into pieces. Even if I did love Archeage's sailing.

But it needs to fit with the current lore and storyline, not be a direct copy from another game. Sorry OP, but ESO can never be like Archeage. If you wanted that, go back to it.

Only you mentioned Archeage. Why I dont know. The OP never mentioned it,and I would take a guess and say they werent even thinking of it.
Some people tend to be stuck in Lore, not allowing for growth.I would think rather than have the continent divided up that the shipping could be around the shores, and on to other places.
When I first read the post,it seemed like it would be a lot of fun to be able to ship things around, and I still think it would be. As I mentioned, perhaps around the shores.
Also,if you were to look at the Morrowind Map, the expansion Bloodmoon has an entirely separate smaller continent. Solstheim. You have Moestring Mountains, with Castle Karstaag,Hirstaang forest, with Raven Rock and Fort Frostmouth,..Isinfier plains, and the Felsaad Coast that are available for shipping. While not very populated in the time of Morrowind,it could be added as it might look in the time of ESO.
These are just ideas. No real suggestions for the Devs.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

I mention Archeage because all the ideas OP listed are IN Archage. Like the seperation of the factions into continets and the ship sailing / trade routes.

    Fair enough.
However, the OP might not even have played it.They may have just thought about these things on their own.
I took back my stance on separating the continents, but still think that shipping and the other things mentioned wouldnt be a bad addition to ESO.

It wouldn't if it stuck to the lore and current map. I LOVED Archeage's sailing. I can't lie. My guild had a huge war ship for killing the kraken and my boyfriend and I had merchant ships and skippers.

It was a lot of fun, especially in PVP. If they could implement this in the lore, like perhaps one of Captain Kaleen's pirate ships, it would be a BLAST.

I would think that there was shipping in Lore, because there are ships docked in Solstheim,at Fort Frostmouth. There is a supplies warehouse there at the docks even. Also,Tel Aruhn,in Vvardenfell, has shipping, among other places in Tamriel. So,it would fit,I think.
As to Pirates, there are already Pirates in ESO,and shipping as well.Look at all those ships laden with goods in Abah's Landing. There are legit cargo ships and Pirate cargo ships. So,beyond shipping, why not battles. It might not be an easy thing to add though.Depending on the work the devs are willing to put into it.Otherwise,we might have our ships sinking underneath is with a bug. XD

I played Elder Scrolls Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, i don't see why separare continents can be a problem, they are faction dividided anyway and this is the first elder scroll game who have implemented enemies factions, well skyrim have a housing system too
