Make quests repeatable. (Not talking about repeatable quests)

There are so many amazing quests in this game that I’d love to go through over and over again. The one in Coldharbour that involves the soul melting of a High Elf and a Khajiit is a very memorable example. Isn’t it a pity that these beautifully written stories end up a one time use thing?

IIRC, revisiting and making old zones scale to player level is one of ZOS’ future plans. If that is the case, I really hope they can figure out some ways to let us go through those favored quests again, no matter by creating an alternative instance or simply making quests repeatable like those in The Secret World.

What’s your opinion?@ZOS_RichLambert

I just wish there was a way to 'reset' a quest once it's complete. There are two quests on my main that I wish I had done something differently and would have preferred a different outcome.

Live and learn I suppose... at least I know I won't make the same mistake on any alts. Unless I intend to.

Well,..you can make a new character to do those great quests again. That and do Cadwell's Silver and Gold. Those are the same quests only ramped up to your new level after finishing the main questline.

^This, except I have a few more than two. And there are some more I want to do again just for fun.

I would agree with this. But they would need to disable any XP gains for repeat playthroughs of a single quest.

And disable quest rewards. Otherwise the mountains of Craglorn will be flooded with people farming the boss in Loth'Na Caverns for the purple coffer...

Yeah absolutely. You'd be able to do the quest again, but not get anything for it. And I think that would be fine.

Resetting the quests of an entire zone once you've completed them all (or almost all of them) is something that could work. Resetting individual quests would drive people to find the shortest quest with a good XP or item/gold reward and do that one over and over again :)

Yeah, that's why XP, gold, and other rewards would have to be disabled for repeats.

That's not really workable if the quest I want to repeat is far down the questline though. Like the aforementioned Craglorn quests.

I think every zone should have repeatable daily quests. I would love to have a reason to go back to the hollow city.

I would like this just so I could read any quest item books/notes that I missed for eidetic memory.

I think redoing quests would be somewhat less then grand, considering how you'd be hopelessly overlevelled for much of it in many cases - the mainstory cases, specifically.

In any case, I would rather have more daily missions of the repeatable kind... but I expect, we will get those with every new DLC nowadays... at least we have so far, and it'd make sense. I do like the ones that have your characters revisit old locations, to steal stuff, (or presumable come DB, murder someone? Wish there were more guilds that had such missions, for my less criminal characters as well...)

What I might enjoy though was an option to redo instanced boss fights... not the whole instance, just the boss... see how I would fare against some I had problems with back in the day now and so on (Mannimarco, my nightblade is looking at you). Maybe some "magical training hall" thing where you can choose different already defeated "enemies of renown" to practice against? Perhaps even with selectable level of difficulty? (like... some bosses in before "da Nerf") I could see that being interesting...

Yes I would love this! There are quests I'd like to run again because I thought they were really well done, and quest-givers I thought were really cool who disappear from the game after you do what they ask of you which is a shame. Disabling xp and rewards for it is fine by me.

Kinda reason the game has red options in a quest. they are impacting meaningful decisions...

You can't take back a stroke of a brush so why should you beable to take back a life you ended.

    All part of replaying factions

    But being a V16?
I mean... where would be the fun there?
If you like to re-enjoy the game, it's story, it's very essence, then roll a new character?

What would be joy in slaying lvl 1 mobs, being a demi-god?

    Or am I missing something?
