Yes, I don't think TES 6 will be able to create a world that is more alive than an MMO. I mean, you play alone there and it's fun and everything, but it's too scripted compared to an MMO experience.

I'll most likely put most of my time into TES:VI for the few couple weeks, then slowly get back to prioritizing ESO.

I might take a TES VI break, but it will run out of content. ESO never will run of content to do plus it has real live "NPCs" ;)

I'll play 100+ hours, then when that story is done, I'll come back here.

That said, I hope the next ES game is set directly before ESO. The capability they have to using the next ES game to fully support their MMO, by providing backstory to the war of the Alliance and the summoning of Molag Bal.

We could possibly even witness the Akaviri invasion, or even BE an Akaviri. Ahh, the possibilities.

Or you could just let me make my Imperial legionairre and murder the f*** out of some more Thalmor. I'd be happy with that too.

Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

I"m a big fan of both Fallout and ES.

I played Fallout 4 for about 3 days...and returned to ESO.

I'm sure I will eventually go back and finish FO4 as well as play ES VI...but for the foreseeable future ESO is my gaming home.

It may not be "perfect" but I've never had another game hold my interest for as long as ESO has...and I go back to the original DOOM on 5 1/4 floppy ;)

It's not a straight up comparison. Singleplayer games offer completely different gameplay than MMOs. There's also likely to be 2 more years before TESVI is released. There's no telling what will come out between now and then too. ESO in my opinion is notoriously light on content and it's not a singleplayer game that will threaten it so much as it is another MMO or multiplayer game that offers more content, and more consistent gameplay.

The Witcher 3 came out and I'm still playing ESO. Fallout 4 came out and I'm still playing ESO. I'll set aside time for TES VI when that comes out, but if I am still playing ESO at that point, TES VI wouldn't make me stop.

    Maybe baby.

I've had fun with ESO but I'm at my limit of enjoyment TBPH.

If ESO does something that makes the game interesting again, apart from a quarterly DLC that opens up 1/100 of the map up with nothing really new but more gear grinding in the same set of dungeons/trials for half baked loot, not to mention stopping the constant nerfs to playstyles (Namely tanks but generally every playstyle is getting wrecked by something or another every other patch), than maybe, just maybe, I'll set aside my temptations of returning to FF14 and continue playing ESP when TES:VI comes out.

It's not like this game has a mandatory monthly subscription (at least, not anymore). Of course I'll come back, Legion is closer on the horizon to take me off for at least a year or two before I come back when it hits a wall again and end up with the same raid for a year without new content. If it's as bad as Mists of Pandaria then I'll be back even sooner, this game really filled the void of that panda hell.

I stayed away from TESO:TU in order to play like a madman in Fallout 4 Survival mode.

Now i come back, it was fun.

Besides TESO:TU is an MMORPG while TES:VI is an RPG, they are both 2 different games so yes i will still play TESO:TU.
If I die tomorrow I do not want to think of the game I could of played today, therefor I will play whatever I want today while securing a future to play in as well.

    - Plays an online game
    - Sees an interesting single player game
    - Plays that for a while
    - Gets tired of that new game after beating it (a few times)
    - Plays the online game again

That and I spent some € on this game too :D Would be a waste if I gave up on this. But I'm prob not gonna give up any time soon, since it's still a great game (still rough around the edges though) :p

I've never understood this idea of playing just one game at a time. It sounds like a great way to get bored and/or burned out much faster and end up hating a game you used to love.

I'm currently spending most of my gaming time on ESO, Guild Wars 2, Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and I've recently gone back to Pokémon Pearl. The only consistent factor is that there's always a DS game in there because I play that when I'm out of the house.

The list will probably shift several times before TES VI comes out, and when it does it will get added into the list of possibilities, alongside every other game I own.

I dunno depends how good and open the next ES game is and how good it is. Thing about single player games is they are limited. I put a lot of time into fallout 4 when it came out but hardly look at it at the moment, same for skyrim.

But it does depend also on the way ESO goes and if another MMO comes out or an old one revamps its self.

Depends on how much time I have. I haven't played Skyrim in the longest time, but I know that one day I will go back to it. So it may be the same with TESO:TU. I might put off playing TES:VI until I feel I've gone around most of the others enough. It'll also give them enough time to release patches for all the bugs it'll have :D
