My 5:5 Gear Setups

Tee_Elle
Tee_Elle
Thought Id post my 5:5 gear builds.

They are far from perfect, but seem to be working well for me with my skill rotations.

See On Google Drive

StamBlade: I have both a Bosmer and a Khajit
MageBlade: Breton
Templar: High Elf

I started building these because I wanted to constantly be running two full sets of five, with the set bonuses as much as possible. Most of the time, both set bonus passives are available, no matter which weapon bar I am on.

If you could suggest improvements or better sets (NOT MAELSTROM/MASTERS/TRIALS gear please) that would give more utility/damage/healing, please share.

I am assuming this is a PTS build, where Okori now gives Weapon and Spell damage on weapon glyphs and Deteri now gives Armor and Spell Resist debuffs on weapon glyphs.

Enchanting for the Glyphs. Crushing is to reduce the target armor when I'm light attack weaving.

Hit with a light or heavy, then skills.

No its on XBoxOne. Sorry, I often say Spell Damage when I mean Magicka Damage. And that is what I have done on the sheet - Ill fix it.

Great stuff. So new build is going to be nirnhoned staves with power glyphs for magika classes for all out power.

I would not use transmutation on a healer build. Not in PvE nor PvP. I say Seducer or Magus would serve a better purpose, one greatly increasing regen, and the other providing slightly more damage.

Switch "Hundings Rage" to 4 Morkuldin, 2 Piece Lekis, then on the dual wield, use Night-Mothers Gaze. Or switch Lekis to the Dual Wield and use two differnet monster sets for the two remaining armor slots. Blood Spawn and MK would be best. I say this only cause with Hundings, you are making your critical so high! It only needs to be around 55-65% and with a nightblade, this isn't that hard. Plus with Impen and "reduce critical hit damage" being prominent in PvP, crit is dying. Keep your recovery up! Or switch hundings to TBS.

Great stuff. So new build is going to be nirnhoned staves with power glyphs for magika classes for all out power.

Nirnhoned is getting nerfed on PTS. It now simply increases the "damage tooltip" on the weapon. So a staff with 1335 damage on weapon tooltip will effectively get buffed to about 1482 or so. Which sounds nice, but an extra 150 spell damage is not as good as the extremely high spell penetration you get from Nirnhoned on live. Sharpened is probably better than Nirnhoned now, especially running solo. Precise is probably better for group play, where bosses likely already have armor/resist reduced by tank or other players.

Check out the PTS Patch Notes 2.4.0. Just about all the glyphs and traits were re-balanced.

But power glyphs will be very popular! They went from 174 weapon damage on live to 348 weapon plus spell damage on PTS.

If I could find a way to run my 5 Kags with 5 Magnus I certainly would. I'll have a play with the setup and see what I can do. Thanks for the suggestion.
