Since Magicka specs won't have Dawnbreaker, fix Soul Strike.

As a stam user i thought they coulda left a magicka morph but in reality magicka still has way more options for ultimate no matter what your class ( sorc and dk being the worst granted. As a nb you cannot sustain againsta radiant and 1 other person since you cant rolldodge and your only option is cloak. We do not need every class to be able to use their own jesusbeam and i think removing the option to cloak it would hurt nb, alot. Other than that it could b buffed somehow

You say Soul Strike is weak, you wont be saying that when I one shot you with my 70k Damage Soul Strike and yes its possible to get it that high if only briefly, infact 100k may even be possible.

I knew a comment like this was coming. I'm beyond gutted they took the dawnbreaker of smithing off of my Templar healer/dps it'd crit for 38k on daedric bosses and tick for 17k. It shall be missed.., but Mages have their skill line... Stamina needed their own. Fair is fair.

People asked for balance between the two and their getting it.

I think there's nothing wrong with the change.
We have to keep some differences in style between stamina/magicka. or else why even have the two resources as separate? There's already been too much blurring of the lines.

Its a dot, cloak supresses dots, if you first make soul strike not a dot (and not boosted by thaumaturge) sure we can make it so you cant cloak it off.

I don't think people begrudge it being physical.

A lot just wanted smiting to stay magic. Stamina will always use flawless for the passive anyway.

I don't really use it on any of my magica characters to be honest. Only in dungeons. In pvp, Dk uses bats and comet, Sorc uses overload and comet, templar uses comet and barrier (mainly for the regen) and my NB uses soul tether and Soul harvest.

They should buff soul strike by making it physical damage

On a more serious note, it's not like dawnbreaker is a stam-only ult now. Magicka builds can still use it. You people are acting like it was completely taken away from magicka.
