Possible Glitch VMA

So having had this happen too me several times I have been burned with the Voriak Solkyn's Crematorial Guard fire dot while taking the transport up top in the final stage boss VMA. If you are unfamialar with who that is its the deadroth that spits fire at you and wrecks your day with his nonsense!
The dot stays with you till you die so when your up top you have soul churn and that dot going on and you are pretty much toast. Is this a possible glitch are should you be able to go up top and evade the flame spitting lizard scotch free?
Other things that are not working well in there is bashing the boss when he does that multi attack....sometimes it doesn't register the bash and you have to stand there bashing over and over to get it to proc...
Weapon swapping is a bit laggy in there as well but it's pretty standard and universal to that in the normal zones where you would have weapon swap delay/lag not working properly. However, this one we just come to terms with it since we been dealing with it since the start of eso.

caperon✭✭✭✭You need to kill the daedroth before going up or not be touched by the fire at all before you take the platform.
For bash, you can asign a key for interrupt, its much more reliable than use the 2 buttons in your mouse.0 -

I think OP is saying that when he goes to the shrine thing to get to the upper level, there is a cremitoral guard ripping him a new one and the damage still hit's him when hes on the upper floor.
I personally think it's a lag issue. There are tons of moments in this game where im already dead but still able to move for 1-2 seconds. Since vMA is such a kill or be killed arena i'd assume this is what happend if lag was present.
Best advice, avoid prime time when going for an attempt at vMA.

You can not bash the guards, as I said you need to kill them before going up or not be touched at all by the flames before going up. Killing them removes the dot instantly or if you ar e not hit by the fire breath you wont get the dot.
My recomendation for bash is a general recomendation for any interrupt you need to do, works much better with a key assigned than with pressig both mouse buttons. In this case, the boss channeled atack you need to interrupt (or reflect with the defense sigil).Edited by caperon on May 12, 2016 3:53PM0 -

I have no idea if this is indented or not, I've had it happen to me. It's not lag related because you can actually survive for a bit if you spam heals but eventually the combination of dots will destroy you. The only way to stop it from happening is to either kill the guard or don't let him get you with his fire breath.
The bashing thing can happen anywhere in the arena, I experience it mostly on Stage 8.0
