What is the Drop Rate for Purple Gear in Veteran White Gold Tower?

I've been doing quite a few runs through Veteran White Gold Tower recently, and am left wondering what the actual drop rates are for purple gear; the groups I form end up with players who get some good loot (armour set pieces, Kena helm et al.) but all I end up with is shards (which are fine), and something really really lame like Molag Kena's Touch (got a bunch of these if anyone wants one). Is there something I'm missing here? I've been under the impression that drops are random, and while my touch of bad luck could certainly fit the bill I can't help but wondering; especially given how many duplicate monster helms as an example I end up with from other dungeons.

It's low. I've been doing both WGT and ICP regularly since they came out some 6 months ago and still don't have full spell power cure or Scathing Mage sets with all divines.

Yeah; I have two pieces of spell power and jolting (and duplicates), and have the feeling at the moment that August may be the earliest I can expect to have 5 pieces barring some exceptional luck. Sorry to say, but glad I'm not the only one

Minimal. Shoes of anything are the worst to farm. Only drop from trash and the three amigos.

1st boss drops belts and legs.

Inhibitor drops shoulders and chests, Kena drops gloves and helms. Generally you'll get one item per run at least. Whether it's a good item is a different matter

@Gedalya Players have guesstimated the drop rate to be as low as 1-2.5%.

Just depends I have 30 kena helms 2 sets of spell power cure and all of the other junk. But I've ran that dungeon probably 500 times. I've had spurts where nothing would drop and then spurts with kena helms dropping and set pieces for days. Good luck pray to rngesus before you go in

Looks like you just have bad RNG. As you pointed out others in your run are getting drops.

Also, Zos rarely discussed drop rates.

It is extremely low. And when you do get a drop you can pretty much count on it being well-fitted. I have a ton of runs in and have 2 pieces SPC with desirable traits. I also wanted to try out Essence Thief on my Stam Sorc but have yet to have a single piece drop.

I have run vWGT hundreds of times. Still don't have 5 pieces of Essence Thief (not 5 pieces with great traits - don't have 5 pieces at all). I have run vICP hundreds of times. Still don't have 5 pieces of Sheer Venom (not 5 pieces with great traits - don't have 5 pieces at all). I do have a lot of Spell Power Cure, which is only really great set out of there, but I am not a healer so not much use to me. In other words, drop rates are really low.

I dont think I´ve done them "hundreds of times" but I do have all sets.
I have been doing them since they came out a couple of times every week.
SPC in perfect traits but havent been so lucky with the traits my Scathing

Atleast 6 Kena Helmets in divines (+30 in other traits)
Drop Rate could be better but you will get your pieces if you do a couple of runs everyday

Well. I am missing belt and boots spc. But I did this *** 40 something times and finally got my helm. Then got 2 more right after. Now I have one of each material

It is so low that after regular WGT runs since release I still dont have SPC with good traits.
