How many XP per CP now? Is it still 400k and down to 100k when enlightened?

    They added a catch up mechanism so now the amount of EXP required for CP depends on how many CP you have following this formula ((TotalPoints / (Cap ^ 0.95)) + 0.08) * 400000

    DB will be slightly different since you are given 10 once your highest character first reaches 50. But currently here is a spreadsheet I made showing the amount of EXP needed per CP based on the above formula CP Progression

    The system changed when they introduced the cap.

    You now require more XP per CP on a slowly growing formula which I have quoted below.
    The XP required for Champion Point gain is based on the following formula:
    (((x / (cap ^ 0.995)) + 0.085) * 400000) if x ≤ cap
    (((x / (cap ^ 0.995)) + 0.085) * 400000 * 1.5) if x > cap
    x is your current number of Champion Points.
    The current cap is 501.

    Just double checked with my current needed CP... The formula I posted that was given at PTS is not what is used, the formual @Turelus posted from UESP is dead on matching my 444,981 exp needed to get my 500th. Changed the spreadsheet to match that formula now.

    I was a little worried that UESP might have been the old formula as I know they changed it a it after PTS feedback.

    I was actually looking for a progression chart as I knew a few players made them but Google was not my friend. Looking at that chart makes me cry though as I am current sitting on 483 and grinding nightly with a friend for cap (as we're both tired of being slackers).

    I think the formula changes once you hit cap. I am at 543, and it takes about 720K to go up a point.
