Message to ZOS, Activity Finder "completion" bug that needs fixing.

Just got to the end of Selene's web on normal difficulty.

We fought the spider and killed it. Immediately after the message "Activity Completed" appeared, the spider exploded and a woman came out and started slaughtering us.

We were literally 1 hit away from killing her before we were wiped out, spawning us back to before we fought the spider. Instead of repeating the last fight, one guy just ditched us and left, so now we're a player short. As the activity is supposedly complete (IT ISN'T!!!), the finder is doing absolutely nothing to find a replacement.

Right now, we're sitting at the edge of the giant spider web, waiting for our glorious leader to find a 4th. All because the stupid finder called a victory prematurely.

So, uh...why does it do this? Why does it say the activity is complete when we haven't actually finished the dungeon yet?

EDIT: So unbelievably freaking close to raging right now. After an hour of inviting random people to help us, we still couldn't beat it (the people we invited couldn't perform their roles properly), and all allies but one gave up and left.

I tried to go back into the Activity Finder again to find more allies, but because the current activity was incorrectly labelled as "complete" it tossed me back out of the dungeon so it could start the whole thing over again.

That's it, screw this, I'm done. Not playing the game for at least a week after this, it's making me want to punch a hole in my door.

If someone from ZOS is reading this, can you please leave a comment to acknowledge this bug? It'd help put my mind at ease and calm down.

    I don't know how the activity finder is coded, but my only guess is that it's assigned to flag a completion after the spider selene's death, instead of her second phase being assigned. So the finder mistakenly assumes that by killing selene in her spider form, you've finished the dungeon.

    I think it is a bug. I know there is another dungeon(cant remember the name) but you kill the "final boss" Activity finder says it is complete but there in fact is one more boss to beat in the dungeon to turn in the quest.

    So I think that once you "kill" the spider the game registers it as boss dead. Could be wrong though.

    Welp, just got kicked back to the start after trying to use the Activity Finder to get more allies.

    For god's sake, ZOS, please fix this issue in DB or sooner if you can, because this is just plain stupid.

    Yeah selenes web is bugged like that. I giggle everytime it happens. But probably because i never got hosed like you did.

    Ugh, that sounds annoying. My sympathy, OP.

    There's definitely other dungeons where it says "Activity complete" before the final boss is finished - does anyone feel like taking a tour of them and making a list of the ones which are bugged? Or at least, perhaps people could note whether the dungeon is bugged or not in this thread here whenever they use the group finder.

    Volenfell and Elden Hollow are marked as complete after the final bosses, but before the actual dungeon is complete (you still have to leave through the door/portal before you are allowed to complete the quest). Dunno if that's intentional or not, just mentioning it.

    It makes sense the "activity complete" is attached to the final boss and not the quest though, as the game needs something to tell it to send players their bonus loot for random dungeons. You only get the quest once, so it can't really be attached to that. You also do not need 4 players to complete the quest, so if someone leaves the group after the final boss is killed - it won't affect you completing the quest.

    I noticed that Selene's web would do activity complete early on, and had put in a bug report via the in game big report feature (on PC). It's the only dungeon I noticed doing this though.
