id like to discuss some gear setups for mag nb in pvp. what are you using that is effective. Im not interested in the VD Det gank build either.

mtwiggz✭✭✭✭✭No VD is easy to get away with and still be competitive. Without Proxy you're going to have a very difficult time killing anyone with even a small bit of skill. Mageblade just doesn't have enough burst without Proxy.

3x Willpower Jewelry
Or replace the 2x Torug/1x Kena with 3-4x Magnus/Mara.
There's many different setups you can use. This is just one variation that is easy to obtain. Like I said though, without Proxy good luck.0 -

4 x Seducer
3 x Willpower
5 x Kagrenac's Hope
4 x Magnus or Eye's of Mara
3 x WIllpower

5 x Cleaver Alchemist
3 x Willpower
The top set will give you more sustain moving down to the list to get more burst damage.
The last set you need to set it up with 3 x Kagrenac's armour on your front bar with 2 x Kagrenac's swords. The rest Cleaver Alchemist armour and resto staff. Drink a potion on your resto bar for 15 seconds of burst.
Those sets work well for me, it just depends on how much sustain vs burst you require.

tennant94✭✭✭Lich set, 4 Magnus and 3 willpower with Mage or apprentice stone. I've found this works good. The damage isn't the greatest but when db hits live you could use spell damage enchants on your weapon. Stats wise your looking at 44k max magicka, 4K+ recovery(with lich proc and pot) and spell damage will be 3k+. 3k+ spell dmg with magnus and wilpower only?
3k with spell damage enchant proc. Probably wouldn't use this setup if you plan on using poisons though.
