Access Code

So I decided to download the EU client and give it a try. Upon login I am greeted by the familiar "This computer is not authorized to log into this account. An access code has been sent to the email address associated with this account... etc" box.

Usually when this happens to me on NA I receive an email within 1 minute's time. However today with EU it's been over 2 hours and I have yet to receive anything.
I have checked filters, folders, etc so it's not lost in my email account. This is not normal for me so I would like to know if there is something wrong. I have since then tried logging in and hoping it would send the code again but as I said it's been over 2 hours now and nothing. This is lame.

    Hello Xael,
I am sorry you are not getting your access code right away. We see this happen sometimes with some email providers and the only thing we can suggest is changing your email address. If you'd like to do that, please contact customer support and they will be able to assist you.

It just took them 3 hours to send me a code.

I tried to change my email in the meantime, another lengthy process which has me getting customer service involved. However even this step requires me to have yet another code sent to me, which by the way took less than 10 seconds. I decided to not change anything.

This area should be improved. We should not be forced to wait 3 hours or more (I have heard players say it took them over 24) to get into their account and play. :(

This is happening to me. I have been trying for over a week to check my account to see when I need to renew my ESO plus. But it never sends the code. It use too.

It is just so frustrating because this device is the same device I've used since I bought the game 2 years ago.

I guess they don't want me to renew......oh well.

    Hello Xael,
I definitely understand how frustrating this is and I do apologize. We have no explanation for why you'd receive the code for the support portal but not for the EU client. I am sorry to say we do not have any way to resend the code to you, if we did I'd have it done already.

I logged into my EU account I have nothing from NA aside from vanity pets and my Imperial unlock and any race any faction from preordering/Early Access.
I do not have costumes or anything else purchased via crown store.
I actually have 2150 crowns... Since you began giving 1500 monthly crowns for a sub I have had no breach in my subscription. Moreover on 3 different occasions crowns were purchased on this account.

I should have 37500 crowns. Where are they?

The crowns you purchase or receive for ESO Plus are available to you on either the NA or EU server, however once they are spent, they are removed from your balance. Crown Store purchases are server specific so they will only be available on the server where you purchased them.

    You are joking right?

I am an ESO Plus member. This is for both EU and NA. Yet my crowns are only on one? So now that I am also playing on EU, in a week where will my 1500 crowns go? NA or EU? This is a terrible design.

The way I understand it, your 1500 crowns will display and be available to spend on both servers. But after receiving those 1500 crowns, if you were to buy for example a pet for 700 crowns on NA, the new pet would only be available on the NA server and both the NA and EU server would now display 800 crowns as available to spend.

Is there any way to disable the "access code" functionality? I've been seeing this more frequently lately. I guess my IP address has been changing. I've had to reboot my router a few times because I bought a new modem and router. I'd rather not have to go through this every time I reboot my router or get a new IP. There really should be a way to disable it with the caveat of possibly decreasing my account's security, which should be my choice. Put in a disclaimer mentioning this where it basically falls on me if my account gets hijacked and there would be no recourse from Zenimax or something. I'd probably be willing to give up help from support if the account were to get hijacked if I could disable the access codes. Even better, add some kind of authenticator support that would let me use either a Zenimax Android app, or at best I could use the authenticator app that I already have (Authy).
