You're correct, however, the Magicka abilities that Stamina NBs use aren't primarily used for damage but mainly for buffs.

For example: I use Relentless Focus and Shadow Image which deal damage (obviously less than a Magicka build) but I'd still use these even if they dealt no damage whatsoever.

Ah, I'm not sure how many but some do start off as requiring Magicka and then you can morph to Stamina. Such as that.

Power Extraction uses stamina to cast but does magika damage, go figure. Sap Essense is a must have if magika build.

There is really good synergy with enough NB skills to make a very fun and straight forward stamina build.

With reaper's mark and killer's blade your health should be fine, esp. if you are rocking Rally with 2hd.

Stealth - reapers mark - rally - ambush - shadowy disguise - wrecking blow
(you now have maj brutality, empower, and auto crit on your wrecking blow)
Something should be dead, giving you a ton of health from reapers mark.
Anything else you kill use killers blade as finisher for a ton of health return.

Merc resolve on bar for inc. damage passive and for bosses an xp boost by activating.

Magika build, it is more of a "which skills am I going to use" scenario since you have so many to choose from.

Of course, PvP your choices should be different.
