I've Molag Kena shoulders and was going to hunt the head. Now this week pvp vendor has the Bloodspawn head for sell. With Blood we get stam regen, but lose a bit of dps, right? Or am I missing something else?

    Thanks!

Well, I wouldn't go 2PC Kena in PvP (especially for Templar). However, compared to 2PC Kena, yeah, 1PC bloodspawn and 1PC kena is less dps. But, the DPS you get from kena is good, and if you are running 1PC kena, it's a great combo

I would have at least 5 light or at least 5 heavy. You'd be missing out on good passives.

This was a great read. New to the game and playing Templar, was very helpful.

I'm trying to decide whether I want to do Magicka or Stamina. Looking to tank in both small group pvp and pve.

Any thoughts on which might work better for that role?

Magicka, since you can be tanky, provide nice healing and utility.

Only in theory but since malubeth got excluded from battle spirit, and with the new heavy armor and powered trait(i guess that's the one adds extra healing) for your secondary weapon for vigor plus major mending buff for your heals, stamina builds can also be ridiculously tanky. Even more than live. Plus you have now shield stack with blazing and bone shield. Plus shuffle plus manual dodge rolls and blocks. Add Low Slash on top of all these and add Empowering Sweeps(they stack) and maybe with Nords. Oh god...

    Great write up @blabafat .

As mentioned before Aurora Javelin has a great use in PvP , not really for solo players or dueling but at forts and keeps . The range is great and the knock back throws people off walls . The range and fall damage kills most players that don't spend enough points in health . This can really be a fun ability against those perched up on oils or firing bows from walls .Creeping up in stealth seems to increase the damage as well .

I have completed nightblade and Sorc kill quests with just this ability alone because those seem to be the majority of players that stack on wall defenses .

It's an awesome skill, you can also use it to push people off of outposts when you position yourself on their side. :)

Hey really great guide thanks a million for posting it. Though if I could ask a question.

With DB coming up would going HEAVY be better? I am about to make some impen PvP armor. And cannot decide between heavy or light Kags.

I will run sword and board, becuase I rather like being a little tanky. It seems like you use 5 light, have you ever tried heavy and did you notice any differences?

Any help with this would be appreciated. I just cannot decide lol.

Also just to add to this , would the new Cyrodil light be worth it as the 5 piece seems to really benefit Templars. Would that be better than kags in anyone's opinion.

I personally run into trouble when I'm CC'd not really when I'm jabbing. So I am unsure...

I have not tried 5 heavy before, so I can't tell you whether or not it's better. I know it's viable, though - I've seen many templars run 5 heavy and perform really well. It's definitely worth trying, but I'm just too lazy/poor to invest into it.

Cyrodiil's Light is definitely a viable option. It gives you a lot of damage (spell damage, max magicka, max magicka for 2/3/4). Also, the 25% decrease in damage while jabbing would allow you to jab heal through basically everything lol.

@WillhelmBlack Impenetrable, along with it's current effect, will reduce durability damage. Basically, Sturdy is being added to it.

Unless they hanged it Cyrodil light makes you take 25% less dage when channeling. It's another set that gives channels more damage but it does not scale. If they changed Cyrodil light though that would be very strong.

Blaba, how do you handle crit rush, dizzy swing spam?

I block the first dizzy swing to get cc immunity still seems like nothing I can do with the damage it puts out. And if I don't block the first cc from it 6/10 times with full stam seems I can't break out of the cc and die.

    Gear:
5 light 2 heavy (chest legs)
    5 julianos
    4 seducer
    3 willpower
    DW/1H SHIELD
    5 impen
    2 divine

I use similar set up in skills to your last 1vX video.

Seems like its almost impossible to counter that crit rush, dizzy swing spam. Any help would be appreciated
