Request: Merchant Assistant

Why does the merchant not even sell repair kits? Even if at an increased price? It simply makes no sense.

Please allow the merchant to sell basic items such as empty soul gems, basic potions, and repair kits. If the price is increased by 20% that is fine.

The entire point of the assistants is to be convenient, and at a staggering $50 price point the merchant is lacking his most basic of services.

am I missing something or is the difference in crowns that huge?

I pay about £23 for 5,500 crowns. and I believe that an assistant is 5,000 crowns.

Is it $10 for 1,000 crowns for USA?

If so, ouch.

I thought the 5,500 crown pack was like $30 something maybe $39.99USD? Could be wrong since I never buy more than the 1 month sub

For me it's much more. $40 AUD for 5500 crowns but since my game is through steam I can't get them through this site which means Steam charges me $39.95 USD with the conversion equals over $50 AUD.

So $50 is a fair statement.

Unless they make the merchant and banker assistants more useful I won't bother with em. Just as easy to port to a guildie/friend and find a merchant/banker.

Buy repair kits and keep them in your bank and use the banker assistant for that purpose?

If the merchant sold repair kits, or offered repair services, that would seriously affect the sales of Crown Repair Kits.

I honestly have plenty of repair kits on my character this is not the underlying issue. The issue here is that ZOS wants to make money right? I am just giving a suggestion on how to push this particular product. But from the viewpoint of someone who has already purchased them and is a tad bit umm..whats the word...feeling that the merchants assistant in particular is a bit underwhelming for a $40 purchase price...or i suppose you could do extra math and filter out those 500 crowns...since it only cost 5000 and not 5500...but STILL..lol...the merchant does almost nothing

Who actually buys crown repair kits? Gold is so easy to get - you can stockpile grand repairs very easily by either purchasing them or doing a daily crafting writ, I believe they also get delivered via hireling? Not sure on that one...but I do all of it and have way more repair kits than I ever could use - not to mention I do not even use repair kits 99% of the time. Unless I get a horrible pug and stick around just because I am DPS and do not feel like waiting for hours in the que again...A few days ago I literally spent 7 hours in the que with nothing.
