1. Really great fight outside Aleswell with around 8 members of K-Hole and a few scattered other DC players. Looking forward to more fights with them in the future.
You're - Invictus right?
That was really fun for us too - thankyou. Its really nice to see a good EP group on the server again, so please stick around. Hopefully over the weekend we can get a more balanced group on as if that encounter was anything to go on we will have some really memorable fights in the future.
There are some hilariously entertaining posts here, it's been a good read. I do think that a few people spend an awful lot of time and energy trying to justify their skewed points of view rather than trying to understand the realities, but everyone's got to be somewhere.
Gate camping? Yeah, I've seen it happen and I try to discourage it. I know that, regardless of what banner we fight for, we've all done it at one time or another but the better guilds and players don't do it. There's really nothing good that comes from being on either side of that. Gate camping isn't a good fight, it's just kicking someone while they're down.
Pushing a faction back to it's gates to take their scrolls and resources for the purpose of knocking them out of the lead on the scoreboard? I'm all for it, but once done, back off.
Zergs? They tend to just happen organically. Occasionally they happen because they're needed but I think that most often they happen because people just tend to go where the action is. My guild groups are usually around 8 - 12 people. Sometimes a few more and often times a few less. We play the map and the scoreboard and, in general, we're more successful than not. Sometimes we run into overwhelming opposition and call out for some help. Other times folks just show up because that's where something is happening. I can honestly say that it's very rare that anyone tries to rally the faction into a zerg. It's much more common to try to rally some folks to go to Keep A and Outpost B while our group goes for a tactical advantage somewhere else.
I will say that we've had some great fights. Many of them could have gone either way and several have been stalemates. Other times we've had our asses handed to us. My hat's off to those who don't spend their time whining and sending hate tells and just put up a good fight.
Now if we could just get ZOS to fix the Bombard and Shuffle bugs...
People need to understand last night 5/4 there was maybe 2 groups of AD actually fighting at keeps. I was leading a group of 12 to 14. The bars you all keep posting are the players in IC farming stones not playing on the map. This is not your fault and numbers are always hard to count when players are running around. This is a tech issue and to solve it IC needs to be split from Cryo. However that is another issue all together. EP zerged last night all over the map. The 30 or 40 AD players that were actually defending or trying to take stuff simply were outnumbered. My group constantly faced full RAID plus numbers at every turn.
I know you all think I'm crazy, probably am to be honest, but I was streaming for about 3 hours of the prime time fights. if you need the visual confirmation that EP knows only how to zerg / proxy / and hide behind LOS let me know I will be happy to YOUTUBE the evidence.
On further note. AD if you like the ability to farm inside IC then you need to pay the price of defending the campaign. IF you see the map flipping then crawl your butts out of the sewers and do your part to defend the map. If you see the message that a scroll has been taken, you are needed no matter what your level is. This is not an order or a condemnation for what or how or where you play your time, its about doing what is right for the alliance. AD has lost so many good leaders, its time new blood step up, but more importantly its time for AD to work together.
Tip for the day:
Raid is defined as 24 players
Group is defined as 4 players
TeamSpeak is a must if you don't have it get it.
What is wrong with groups using LoS to survive? Are groups supposed to just stand out in the open and eat the AD's siege guild's siege and die?

Zergs dont happen "organically" its the concious decision to leave TF to pop lock AD side in haddg everynight. It doesnt just happen. It was a choice when decided to leave because EP was winning TF.

Nothing like stirring the pot for food for thought.
Fair point, however, why would you (I mean a general "you" not you in particular4 : Night Capping. Different time zones will be able to play at different times in larger numbers. If a faction does not want to lose their keeps / emperorship after the majority of their player-base would not be on then its a fairly simple problem to remedy. Have players on that can hold the campaign. This goes for all factions.
AD is winning this campaign now because of numbers. Nothing else. Take your pride in your numbers, because it has nothing to do with any kind of skill (solo/group/leading, you name it)
Classic Haderus: 1. DC gets outnumbered 2. AD gets outskilled (but thanks to all the "fixes" zos has made to this game, it doesnt matter how much you work. Numbers win anyways these days)

Telel has an answer to this problem.
1) Re roll AD
2) Come to True flame and be on the side that is out numbered, lacks skill, needs group leaders, and is losing.
3) Lead PUGs.
4) Obtain true ultimate mediocrity!

The AD Zerg there is real....that Zerg is larger then the old DC Zerg on Bloodthorn. that's just insane.

The same as many times earlier, pvdoor feat. Checked the map and it is red. Not a single Ad to be seen.

AD was defending like crazy with 2 bars, the moment emp crowned they /ragequit. AD only plays when they are winning.
And when I made that post, it was actually when blue was smashing them. At that point they had 3 bar (AD)

I just figured out why we don't see each other much on the battlefield. It's 4:01am and EP is just finishing their night capping session, good job people. Lol you crack me up. Hopefully one day soon you can wake up earlier and I can get some more KB's on you. Greet job on fighting back the 3am Zerg, that was an OP effort. Rylana is in central time zone just for reference.
