Thieves Guild armor set, I screwed up?

After getting the game my first thing after doing the starting quests was to run the thieves guild questline. Now at vr2 all the armor pieces are all at really low levels, pretty useless at my current level. Is there any way to fix or reget the armor without starting a new character, levelling that to max, and then running the quest line on that character?

Why are they useless? They are pretty good in my book. Bahraha's Curse is the set I use for three of my characters.Levels 15,27,and V4. All have no problems with the armor. You can change the enchantments on them and it wont effect their bounses.
(My V5 uses crafted Outlaw style armor that I made.)

I say useless because I got them at low level. Highest lvl on one piece is 28, the rest are lower. So useless to wear a lvl 5 piece of armor at vr2.

I don't craft anything, skipped working on levelling those since having to collect so many ingredients and style books is just not worth the time, so making my own gear isn't really my thing.

You could be able to get them from misions like heists in the tg headquarters, random daily dungeons and through rewards of the worthy if pvp is your thing. Otherwise your savest bet is to just buy them from guild stores.

@prax07 - check out guild stores, there are a lot selling them for relatively cheap.

The thing you have to remember is that certain activities (heists, for example) will constantly pump out armor consistent with your current level. Your goal as a lower level veteran rank player is to accumulate resources so that by the time you reach v16, you'll have the materials necessary to create a set of armor that you actually want to use on a consistent basis. That's the only place you really need to research. If you're primarily focused on getting through the PVE content sans dungeons, anything you pick up will be fine, just make sure that it fits what you're trying to do with respect to your resource pool (stamina, magicka, health).

Additionally, for set pieces, wait until content has aged a bit before spending your hard earned gold. Vicious Death was selling for 40K-100K a piece back when Thieves Guild first came out. It's selling much, much lower nowadays because it's only valuable to the PVP population, and anyone who has played for long enough has already gotten what they want from their Rewards for the Worthy.

I'm primarily set on only ever doing pve/quests. I tried the grinding thing and it's just not for me. Crafting is the same, even the easiest, provisioning, isn't for me. Couldn't even reach level 18 in provisioning before I gave up on it. Having to grind for one recipe, or ingredients, or seven pages of an armor book just isn't enjoyable to me.

If I get a set from heists I'll be more than happy!

Hmmm...just did a heist and the reward was a green recipe I already owned? Sure heists give the thieves guild armor pieces?

Best way other than buying is to do dungeons through group finder, you get undaunted supplies which give Baharas and sylvara scale sets at your current level.
